In a sense the whole Haruhi series in genius becuase we feel the same way as Kyon does in most scenes.In Endless 8 we were all bored at the beggining of an episode like "Oh same thing again" and he'd look the same as us. Then at the end of an episode we'd be like do "DO SOMETHING DAMNIT" and he'd feel the same. But we wouldn't know how he'd do it and he wouldn't know either.

i love this show, but the endless eight was kinda insane. i decided to just watch one and eight after seeing the first few minutes of the ones inbetween, to those who have not seen it yet, i think you should just watch 1 and 8 and you will be good :P

A friend of mine watched this vid and said that it looked like the show was hyped up on something because everything was all happy fast and bounce, and they where randomly hitting signs, all I could do was laugh. If she had ever seen the show she would think there where all hyped up on something, LOL Aliens, Time travelers, Espers, and the almighty controller of the universe.....yep....I watch this sort of stuff, sure says a lot about a person, huh? Actually that was one of my bashes about this show. The opening wasn't that great to me. More so the visuals of the first one. This opening (music and visuals) are much better and more so reflect the humor of this show. Aside from the time loop episodes it was a decent season. (pity they didn't air the damn thing in the right order)

@Woldsky Well, the setting mostly. The first season they have a couple random episodes. Then they have the school fair, and the semester ends with Kyon accepting Haruhi as a genuine friend. Then in the second season, it continues before all that. Showing the making of their movie, they made for the fair. It's just weird... why do things like that? The episodes are great. But they could have had thoses episodes in season 1. Just why? lol

I kind of have to say that just from looking at this opening it seems the series has gone completely off message. The initial series painted a picture with the opening, which implied that you were a guest in Haruhi's world and here are the unfortunate tenants in her life. And this was true. Now this seems to just have painted it as Haruhi's club. Just really the usual unecessary sequel to try to make a quick dollar off of the success of the original. Hollywood isn't the only one to do that

And I have no idea as to what you are going on about with the whole making a quick buck thing. Its merely adding on to the visual representation of the stories from the excellent book series, and its good just as you don't pay too much attention to the endless eight.
