  • Wow and these same damn tabloid-worshipping hicks and inbreds have NO problem when their children idolize lesbo bi-whores like Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Angelina Jolie, Pink, Drew Barrymore, Lindsay Lohan, Jillian Michaels, and Lady Gaga who have ALL ADMITTED in their biographies, unaired interviews, and even shown throughout their careers that they like other women. At least many reliable books, articles, documentaries, and discussions prove MJ wasn't gay and he never touched those kids.

  • WIPE THEM OUT OF MY SOUUUUUL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Paul Harvey had 15 million listeners and Savage NEVER paid tribute to Paul Harvey on his radio show.

  • nooooo, i dont like michael jackson, pure trash

  • jackson was a junkie and a pervert

  • @thisiscommentary Lmfao. "MJ will live forever." The funny thing is you really believe that. Nice racist comment by the way.

  • 4:30 his voice goes higher along with the music.

    Priceless timing xD

  • @Timeofflux Don't cry now because I've just proven you to be the single most illiterate and stupid individual on earth. I've owned you so be a man and get over it. Oh and stop following me around you faggot, I'm not into sucking dick and all like you.

  • @Timeofflux And you are still an ignorant and highly illiterate idiot.

  • @Timeofflux And just to educate your sorry, ignorant ass, the proper abbreviation of 'you are' is 'you're', not 'your' and 'there' is not a possessive pronoun. You probably meant 'their' but I forgive you since you are, after all, a deluded mental case without an ounce of both musical knowledge as well as the knowledge of the English language. Keep trying though, just don't override your small brain.

  • @Timeofflux Whatever, it's not me that has just made a complete ignorant fool and a total mental case out of myself by claiming that the pedophile king is like one of the greatest musicals minds ever. Your musical education as well as your mental capacity to comprehend what it means to write 626 classical works in 30 years and what it means to molest boys and sing some cheesy pop songs is clearly on the level of an amoeba. By the way, get a life and get educated, you worthless piece of shit.

  • @Timeofflux You're the biggest moron I've ever had the chance to come across in my life. Get treated because something is not right with your brain.

  • @Timeofflux You have to be fucking shitting me. Are you really that mentally retarded and musically uneducated or are you just pulling our legs? You cannot possibly be serious, otherwise you win a 'biggest retard of the universe' award.

  • rofl.. this segment does feel like some kind of escaped mental patient that took over the PA system in the crazy ward.

  • this is why michael is dead...he never took seriously the hate of white people like this..he never took serious the fact that white people for the most part are capable of anything....the sad fact is he could not stoop to there level...had he been able to..he could have easily destroyed a piece of shit like savage

  • savage was on shrooms that night. savage=truth

  • Savage and I have different tastes in music. We're almost 50 years apart, 49 1/2 years to be exact. He's 68, i'm 18 1/2. He grew up in the '50s, I grew up in the '00s. I listened to Avril Lavigne when I was 10 1/2-11 years old.

  • @bridgetlear2009 ugh, my sister (annaslakersgirl) is right, you're an airhead. Avril Lavigne sucks. Rock music is real music. Avril's music was crap.

  • caller from New York City, sorry, you lose, you were too slow to guess and Savage and Beowulf cut you off .

  • wow, this guy truely is nuts!

  • honestly, this is rediculus. I dont mean to be rude to michael savage but michael jackson was one of the best artists of all time. he was a very smart man with music, with POP. not classical music to different genres. michael j was different. not wierd.Michael s. shud not say he changed his color because he wanted to look wierd. or that he ONLY love little boys. come on he's dead and hes gone, give him a break. only he knows wat he felt. so keep ur hate to urself.

  • @officialastrid100 it only music man !!!!!! alot of think or more inpomtant in live but that the problem today poeple only wan to listen to music and have tha last cell phone on the market nice car and go clubing on week-end

  • That is a top 5 savage moment . . . exactly the reason I listen as often as I could

  • 4:30 to 5:30 is the best I love him!

  • He's right about Cronkite

  • And people say Michael Jackass is bigger than Elvis...lmao

  • Oh please, these idiots always try to think of some way to defend their "music".

They try to defend their "music" by saying "but it's not about the melody, you have to listen to the words"..what kind of stupidity is that?? Music is WITHOUT words! The lyrics are irrelevant to the music itself! The composer should be able to express his/her true thoughts through the music.

That's why it's pointless to try to get to know the backstory of an opera or something. It's the music that matters.

  • Michael Savage is the greatest of all time. 4:20 - 5:40 is radio gold. I love his show!!

  • ummmm yes actually i am lifted by michael jackson. plus, the media didn't support him! and that's why michael wanted everyone to start with the man in the mirror. [7:29]

he's pretty full of himself, too-always talking like what he says is law and we're lucky that he decided to share it with us.

michael jackson was always humble.... michael savage is just jealous cuz he can't sing to save his life, and especially at the age of 5.

  • You don't really know what "being lifted musically" is. Even animals respond to Classical music, I've read of a pianist who was practicing Beethoven's 4th Piano Concerto, and the birds were responding back to the trills that were written in the music. They go crazy when they hear this kind of music. Even in animal shelters, they play classical music to calm them down, the minute they put something like Michael Jackson, for example, they go crazy.

  • @ mario54671: im not saying i am never lifted/dont love classical music! pop and classical are two music genres that are worlds apart tho, so it's difficult to truly compare them. all i meant is that michael's music has brought me back on a bad day, cheered me up after a depressing event, changed my view on life, etcetera many times. i know my comment was pretty rude, but sometimes i just get fed up with all the hate directed towards michael.

  • Because everybody's making SUCH a big deal about his death, when there are other people that deserve that kind of attention much more than he did. You know when all those great composers died, nobody seemed to care.

Wwhen you think about it, aside from the different instruments and smaller groups of people performing, the genres aren't very different. Pop music, came from classical music, all of the western music goes back to classical music...especially when they steal classical melodies.

  • @mario54671 - And the Jacko apologists keep yapping about "well, his music had a message." It should be noted that what "message" music had was different in the time of Mozart than today. Today, of course, "music with a message" is code for projecting a leftist / "One World" internationalist socio-political agenda. And Jackson's later works (i.e. "We Are the World," "Earth Song") truly exemplify this point.

  • In one of my newspapers, on its internet page, there's even a separate section for Michael jackass! Now you realize how brainwashing the marxist-controlled media is.

  • Pot, kettle. Kettle, pot.

  • ? yuo takin up cookin lessons?

  • Now, what's that got to do with it? The point is, Jackson's touchy-feely New Age-type music was largely aimed for the lowest common denominator, while 'tracingpaper6-7/8' was attacking Savage, the way a typical leftist does.

  • This is another tactic of leftists: If they are called out, act dumb. This isn't about simple "disagreement," it's which side one is on. If someone supports those who advocate the outright destruction of America; favors the way of government of dictatorships like Ahmadinejad's Iran, Castro's Cuba or Chavez's Venezuela; and seeks to destroy the family and replace it with the ethos of self-indulgent "personal liberation," then that makes him or her a Communist or jihad sympathizer.

  • Look who's talking, you hateful moonbat. If you think Communism is so great, go move to Cuba or Venezuela or North Korea. The only brain dead ones I can see are those who "think" that the likes of Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow (left-wing Democrat hacks all) are incisive truth-tellers.

  • Again, those who think Communism is so great are generally those who've never actually lived under it. You try giving that spiel to people who actually escaped from Communist countries in the past, and they'd slap you in the face. Not to mention to any of the 70 million whose deaths were directly caused by the policies of Chinese dictator Mao Tse-tung . . . whom at least two of Obama's now former "czars" have spoken in great admiration of.

  • You CANNOT separate this poisonous ideology from the trail of blood and destruction, political repression, and loss of freedoms that accompany it. Obama is a Mao / Stalin in training, with his Nazi Gestapo police-state tactics in trying to suppress (by force, if necessary, via ACORN, SEIU and New Black Panthers) any legitimate dissent from his far-left neo-Marxist policies - in short, anti-American. Why don't you move to North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela or China if you think Communism is so great.

  • This shows how brainwashed and indoctrinated you've been by the leftist establishment that controls our schools, our media and the entertainment industry. It's evident that to you, the only "truth" out there is the horse manure shoveled to us daily by the Obama/Gibbs/Axelrod/Emmanuel axis. It is a known fact that Obama had worked hand-in-hand with ACORN in the past. You just disregard this because the state-run "mainstream" media has been busily sweeping it under the rug.

  • Michael Jackson was talentless, and a known baby fucker. End of story. I see through all. Also I am the baddest mother fucker in the land.

  • ok im lawlin'

  • If you dont like Savage, dont fucking listen to him you fucking cunts. Stupid fuckers.

  • You belong in a mental hospital for being such a deluded, Kool-Aid drinking Jackophant. The guy didn't put out any new music for EIGHT YEARS at the time of his death. The whole "King of Pop" business was MARKETING, nothing more. Heck, even Sly & The Family Stone were trailblazers compared with Jackson. Anyone who cites Jackson's sales as proof of his "greatness" only serves to prove Savage's points about the lowest common denominator.

  • 5 min of bach acomplished more than 50 years of pop so shut up

  • k626, dies irae, dies illa- dedicated to the god of anger. Thank you Savage.

  • Anybody who thinks Savage is "jealous" over Jackson, just remember: He has no jealousy over anyone with true talent, who came up after years (or even decades) of paying dues and, in some cases, overcoming or prevailing over seemingly insurmountable odds. Notice his admiration for those he cited - Coltrane, Ellington, Hendrix, Gershwin, Copland, and Tammy Wynette. Jackson, on the other hand, was largely a triumph of marketing and image over substance. Especially after 1982-83.

  • Let me get this straight, if I rape two boys and dangle a baby from a high rise, I can be exonerated because I've entertained people?

  • Comment. Of. The. Year.

  • That's all it takes to be loved by millions in the entertainment business.

  • @TheRingil No you have to be a nigger first .. like O.J or Michael jackson

  • @TheRingil in this country..pretty much yeah

  • @TheRingil Yes.

  • I'm not sure, but the version of "Hallelujah Chorus" played sounds like it could be The Mormon Tabernacle Choir's? I heard a faster tempo version of this chorus by Robert Shaw and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra & Chorus in the 1970's.

  • This is Michael Savage at his best at 4:20.

Savage is an American hero he is the voice of the voiceless.

  • Michael Savage is an ass. He demeans himself by his comments. He's trying to JUDGE musical taste! I like classical music and so did Michael Jackson. One of his pieces contains Prelude: Symphony No. 9 in D Minor, Opus 125: Presto (Beethoven)

  • Oh, so Michael Jackson liked classical music? That's a new one on me . . .

  • Michael Jackson was a musical savant--unlike Michael Savage who is merely an ass. Jackson couldn't read music, so he dictated all the orchestral portions, one at a time, to his engineers. There's a thread on a discussion board populated by those who worked with him--some of the biggest names in the industry--where for 26 pages, they discuss how MJ made music. I'd direct you there, but they don't allow MJ Haters to stink up the place.

  • The fact is that other than the wobbly, politically correct drivel MJ turned out (especially "We Are the World"), there was almost nothing distinguished about his music. Besides, there were other African-American performers who came way before him, who were true trailblazers (Nat "King" Cole, Sammy Davis Jr., Louis Armstrong, Lena Horne and so on). It's not "hate." It's that this uber-worship was disproportionate and inappropriate. And from "Bad" onwards, MJ's music got even more self-absorbed.

  • "WATW" became the fastest-selling American pop single in history; first ever to be certified multi-platinum. Honored numerous times—including 3 Grammys—the anthem has sold over 20 mil units and raised over $63 mil for humanitarian aid in Africa and the U.S. Performed live on numerous occasions, "WATW" demonstrated that diverse musicians could productively work together and started a movement in pop music to create songs that address humane concerns. BTW, your opinion is only your opinion.

  • You sound like one of MJ's old flacks, I noticed. Yes, he sold gazillions - but unfortunately a lot of people around the world routinely confuse selling huge amounts of records with actual true musical talent. True, he WAS a singer - when compared with someone like Britney Spears who couldn't sing a true note to save her life without pitch-correction trickery. I have historical knowledge of certain areas of music, so I know whereof I speak. And to put it one way, I am not alone.

  • Furthermore, your PR talking points on Jackson sound like they missed two other factors: That he could walk on water, and leap tall buildings in a single bound.

  • Let's just say I have much more varied musical tastes, and have more knowledge of different types than many of those who purchased MJ's particular works. I have some of Jackson's 1979-82 period 45's, but am not a Kool-Aid drinker the way you are.

  • The other thing was, the period when MJ became such a sales phenom was when so-called "independent promoters" (chiefly Joe Isgro and Fred DiSipio) were at the peak of their power. Also, working at Epic (Jackson's label) was a promo guy named Frank DiLeo who had some ties to both Isgro and DiSipio - and, for a period spanning the last two decades of MJ's life, was Jackson's manager on and off. Let's not forget Walter Yetnikoff and his strong-arming MTV.

  • Actually, it is in fact the liberal left elites that are consumed with this feeling of superiority to everyone else. We see it every day in the disdainful slurs against patriotic Americans from Nancy Pelosi and the other Democrat slime over Obama's efforts to shove socialized medicine down everyone's throats. We also see it in the Left's slandering anyone who disagrees with them politically or otherwise as "below IQ" or worse.

  • What's more (speaking of lattes), it was in the Starbucks of their day that the 1917 Bolshevik revolution of Russia was plotted by Lenin, Stalin, Trotsky et al.

It's sickening that there are so many who hold anyone who doesn't drink the MJ Kool-Aid in such contempt and disdain. As Dr. Savage has put it, he was just a singer and dancer, at the end of the day.

  • Prelude: Symphony No. 9 in D Minor....??

It can't be a prelude...it's a symphony. It's just called "Symphony No. 9 by Beethoven". Presto, that's the beginning of the final movement which contains the Ode To Joy poem in it.

Someone doesn't really know classical music very well...

And ok, he stole a melody from Beethoven, you're not really making him look any better...

  • @FLOOBERNINO

Please be so kind as to explain how Weiner is the voice of the voiceless when millions of people listen to his show?

  • Michael Savage really has it out for the vermin media, and I agree with him.

  • "Lowlifes in high places." Well said.

  • My god, this is an amazing piece. I keep coming back to it. What a song. What a man.

  • five stars. I only listen to Michael Savage.

  • This is my favorite clip ever.

What song *is* playing between 4:20 and 5:40 ?

  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Mozart: Requiem In D Minor, K 626 - 3. Sequentia: Dies Irae

  • Do you know what orchestra played this? I've found a couple played by different orchestras but i can not find this particular version.

  • no sorry

  • There's a very good recording by the Berlin Philharmonic (one of the best orchestras in the world) with Herbert Von Karajan conducting them.

  • 4:20-5:40

    Michael Savage at his best.
