No, they have a little distance to the side of the hull, they are water injected, but that just keeps the chrome from burning off. Ran the same headers on the the same boat for over 30 years.

Do those headers ever get too hot on the fiberglass??? My jet boat has the aluminum water cooled ones, and they are too quiet.
