I remember watching this when it was shown on ABC Family's "25 Days of Christmas." Too bad they cut out some scenes, but they didn't on the DVD.

Im not he biggest fan of movies from when my parents were my age (12 in a half to be exact) but this one and a few others are awsome,say,I might make a winnie the pooh,sonic the hedgehog,pokemon,sailor soldiers,icarly thing of this,like Bowsermovies

This stop motion animation is awesome. It's always intrigued me. I wonder how rankin-bass did it?

This version of RSNY is missing some sound effects. For example in scene 7:13-7:23, Eon's scream as he flies closer to Rudolph, General Ticker and the camel is not heard for some reason.

@sonicwinx77 1964 was a more critical year than 1965 because of Gulf of Tonkin Incident when it was believed that North Vietnamese fired on U.S. destroyers in the Gulf of Tonkin off the North Vietnamese coast. This was the beginning of U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War. Our involvement in Vietnam was started by Kennedy, escalated by Johnson and ended by Nixon.

@sonicwinx77 Note that the 1914-1918 Islands were not on the map of the Archipeligo of Last Years in Father Time's Castle. Neither are there any 1939-1945 Islands.

@67nairb Well, the late 1920's to early 1930's was the era when the Great Depression began, but they didn't add that as an island in the Archipelago of Last Years.
