In retrospect, Pennington really only had 1 or 2 bad years. Manning had 3 bad consecutive years and now he's superbowl mvp. Pennington added some form of stability and poise to the qb position for the jets. With farve, who I think is one of the greats, is not as consitent and leaves wondering how many picks he'll throw today. Either way GO Jets!!

We never went deep in the playoffs with him as our starter, even in the years he had Curtis Martin to handoff to. In his final 5 seasons with the Jets, he threw for 44 touchdowns and 49 picks. Our record during that stretch was 34-46. A change was needed in the worst way for this ballclub at QB. I am sooooo happy he is gone.
