I'm a slapper and I play finger style. I guess it's different for older cats like myself who learned fingerstyle first and the picked up SOME slap. Like everything else they both deserve a liitle style and taste on the bassists part. nothing funkier than a finger funk groove and the player is cuttin those notes.

6 String has a great sound, but I prefer to stick with a 4 string, arthritis kinda makes it hard to play such a broad neck like that...Arthritis at 17..Who woulda thought it could happen...

it sounded as though the Lado had more of a low end sound, the warwick for treble, and the Peavey for midrange. I use a warwick, they are amazing basses. I wish i could afford a Thum-bo though, but the five string. Lol the six strings arent very comftorable for me. Anyways your are one amazing bassist dude, keep it up. I can hear the Wooten in you!
