I never really thought about it that way, but you make a pretty good point. If a woman wants to kill her baby, that's her right. If a woman was raped and became pregnant from that I believe that that fetus should get the same rights as any other fetus, as all fetuses are the same in my eyes. Contraceptions only work if you use them, most pregnancys occer from not using them, not from not know about them. You are right, the child does reside in the woman's body, according to the law it is her choice, not his. This video is meant to show, not only the reality of life in the womb, but the reality of fatherhood. All too often women are pressured by men to have abortions, abortions that neither she nor her child deserves. Men should show love and understanding to the mother and child. If more men did, many women would not feel that abortion, the stopping of a beating heart, was the only solution.

Then take 9 months of gestation and the resources that go into that, plus the emotional bond, the pain of birth etc. Versu what exactly? A few minutes of fun? The woman has to bear the cross for nine long agonizing months. If the couple was in a genuine committed relationship, I think they'd be able to see eye-to-eye more (whether they're for having a baby or aborting it), so there'd be less debate there. Any which way, though, just like when someone invests 99% into a company, they become the primary shareholder, the same holds true for pregnancy; the woman bears it, it's her decision.

this is a great video. noone ever mentions the guys point of view. alot of guys wanna be dads but the girls they inpregnated just want an abortion. the dads should have a say in what happens to "their" baby. they both created it and they both should have a say. and if they didnt want a child they shouldnt be having sex. people need to grow up and take responsibility for their actions. unless it was rape or incest or the health of the mother or baby is at risk, abortion should be illegal.

The DNA and sex involved is not what abortion is about. It's growing inside her uterus, not his, shes the one who will have to give birth, not him, she is the one who is allowed to make the choice of being not pregnant.

Yes, it takes two to make a pregnacy, but one still has to tote it around for nine months then give birth. That party is the one who makes the choice ultimately whether or not to follow through with that.

What if some guy needed a kidney transplant and you where the ONLY person who had a combatable blood type with this person, should you be leggally required to give this person your kidney or should it be your choice?

i get your analogy of making a choice that determines someones life, but aborition falls into another category. this person needs a kidney transplant because it is his misfortune to have a faulty kindey. people who get abortions made the decision to have sex, fully aware of the concequences. Should the woman who made a conscious decision be held accountable for her actions? additionally, should someone who consciously decide to rob a bank be held accountable for their actions?

You are saying the choice is whether or not to have sex, but, I believe the manor of conception is irrelevant to the subject. If a woman was raped and became pregnant from that I believe that that fetus should get the same rights as any other fetus, as all fetuses are the same in my eyes. I believe that they have and deserve as many rights as post birthers. However the fetus does not get the special right to use another persons body to sustain its own life if that person is an unwilling party.

The human fetus and the born human should have the same rights. No more and no less. The fetus does not get the right to sustain his or her life in the body of an unwilling party, said unwilling party having the fetus in her body is free to dispose of he or she. Yes it may be a selfish choice but it's HER choice because it's HER body whether she choose life, death or adoption. I will support all three of these.
If the fetus was killed when the mom choice life that would be murder.

Like I said, lady, a man should wear a condom every time if he doesn't like abortion. Secondly, every time a child is born we imposed illness, death, poverty, misery, and the possibility of hell on her. Giving birth is not necessarily an act of kindness. It can be an act of cruelty. So be kind and get a vasectomy or wear a rubber. Most average men are unremarkable and contribute nothing to the gene pool anyway except inherited disorders and a lifetime of pain from their dysgenic semen.

PP and other family planning centers do more than just abortions (some centers don't even perform abortions and focus on contraception). Contraception education prevents unwanted and needy children.

Contraceptions only work if you use them, most pregnancys occer from not using them, not from not know about them. Nothings 100%, I got preg on the pill:) you cant have all fun with no responsability. STD's, pregnancy...sex is fun but it is for procreation. If your not willing to risk it, dont do it. There are many ways to have fun if thats all its about.

Planned Parenthood is the worlds largest and most respected reproductive health org in the world. Even handing out free birth control pills to women in Africa & other under developed nations. BTW even being a teen single parent I have finished high school, 2 yrs of university but then chose to stay home with my kids. Im now working on my own buisness. Lol, its more than possible to have a great life with kids young or single.

There are more health risks associated with having a child later in life than early. As for grammer, I dont type well and dotn check for errors, but who really cares. It doesnt show lack of intelligence. The reasons for abortion dont really matter, its still a woman killing her child. Its never a persons "right" to kill another. Its wrong. It jsut makes my skin crawl when I see why some of the woman have them, and my taxs pay for them.
