@4thetruth2bsaid umm not true... it actually depends usually macs have better hardware which could make it handle operating better but he's running virtual machine and now the computer is processing the load from the mac running and windows running, this could be 2 times the load a regular boot for windows would take! there are also options to how much ram can be used to run the operating system and hard drive space allowed to be used!

Windows 7 runs flawless on my macbook in coherence view its runs as if its an actual pc no slow downs or errors or anything everything loads lightning fast.

That makes absolutely NO sense whatsoever. If you're running Windows on a MAC, it'll be subject to the same issues as running it on a PC.

The latest 8-core Power Mac couldn't even reach 30 FPS on Call of Duty 4. A PC of equal hardware performance would eat it for breakfast and achieve benchmarks of well over 100 FPS. Saying that Windows runs best on a MAC is a joke.

@MaximusCerberus it was my understanding that most of the problems typically ascribed to Windows are due more to a mash up on different hardware cause compatibility issues as opposed to the software itself. Isn't that why Macs are supposed to be more secure? Because Apple has their hands on every part of the computer assembling process as opposed to just the software which is what Microsoft does?

the fact that windows runs better on a mac is not based on a Parallels desktop application. That way windows is just a program that runs on the mac system.

Windows runs better on a mac when Booth Camp is used. This way windows does become the main OS and thus perform very well, better that on a normal pc. Pwnd

I think that Apple is a hardware company and makes most of it's money on the hardware. The software is just a layer slapped on top. The apple hardware is the best hardware I have ever seen, which is why it is so expensive. I think people go back to Windows because on such beautiful hardware the OS sings, OSX if a great system, but if you can get Windows running well on great hardware it is too.

Actually, Apple does have some good hardware but for ludicrous prices. I can build a computer using equivalent or better hardware for much cheaper prices. Mac fans seem to backup why their mac is better using old out-dated facts. Sure Mac's were the better OS for making movies 10 yrs ago, but now Windows can do it, and better. Their is also essentially less hardware compatible with macs, and you can't take apart a mac without destroying it (Unless you actually make them).

Whats ironic is the Mac is more complicated then Windows and people are more prone to have problems with incompatible software. I haven't seen any macs in a while but the last one I ever saw was a plain, white, flat screen.

I would run a Mac too, but the OS seems inferior Its self, hence why I'm getting Windows 7. If Mac's could be run on a custom built machine that would be nice, provided several tweaks were available to the current OS. Another thing I don't like is Mac's having everything to do with Itunes or quick time, they assume I automatically have a ipod or iphone. I can't even install quick time without itunes now.

Put the OSX CD in once windows is installed and it has drivers for boot camp on the disk.  Just install them and you'll be OK.
