  • @nadegebev

i am not the owner of Istanbul cymbals ...LOL :-)

Also i was talking about masterwork cymbals, did u watch the video ?

  • Will work 4 cymbals lol they are freaking expensive

  • true craftsmen!

  • i kinda would want to do this for a living

  • dude! that's a heck of a cymbals! i wish i can grab one. ehehehehe

  • What about some protection for workers?

  • akoustikan ellinika i mou fanike????

  • @xaropaleuw

Φυσικα φιλε μου αφου 3 Ελληνες ειμασταν εκει..

  • @hampisdrums popo prepei na ginotan tis poutanas apo piatinia ekei e??!!1

  • ha totally!

  • hell yeah ! a real mans job makin cymbals without protection

  • no fcukin healt and safety like in england.

  • eye glasses and ear protection are overrated.

  • NOW COMPARE WITH PAISTE'S FACTORY.

  • Man, I'd like to have a similar, but a little more simplistic setup like this one.

You can't compare anything to the sound of a handmade cymbal!

  • @mistahmaxi

    Yeah man i agree

  • now compare this to Zildjian's factory.

  • @ProductionsSkyline

    So ?

Paiste factory in Switzerland is even better

  • @ProductionsSkyline Istanbul make better cymbals than Zildjian though

  • @NickyMSafc Preach it brother!

  • they are wearing no hearing protection, the lathe operator has no eye protection or gloves. Not the safest place to work.

  • just got a MW Aluminium Bell 5', long resonance, very light, awesome to play as an fast effect over latin stuff. rustic environment

  • @dmtharpua

The had plenty of bells when i went, i should have bought one :-(

  • i admire their craftsmanship, but is this legal?

  • @awkwardh1ppo why wouldnt it be..?

  • @MrJaapKooiman i mean, just the conditions that they work in, no safety equipment, just seems kinda dangerous and sketchy

  • @awkwardh1ppo

    Yeah it was very dangerous

But i don't think the authorities ever check

  • So THAT'S where my cymbalset was made.

    Thanks for the inside look.

I play Masterwork Legends, suberb cymbals.

  • those are some old school methods...

not to mention the working environment =\

  • I love these cymbals !!!!! i've played them all butt these are the best !!!

  • @frankanizer

    i agree with you

  • I have been a drummer for 40 years, played ZIldjians Paiste and Spizziani (Itialian beauties!) and have ALWAYS wanted to see this process. Now I know....TTTTHHHHAAANNNKKKSS!!!!

  • @cjphoto1

    you're welcome dude !

  • They seem to be really nice sounding cymbals! But the people work in very unsafe conditions! No glasses, no ear protection, no gloves, debris all around.

  • Good point.

  • @c1e1l1c1

Well this isn't the US where there's OSHA or countless unions. That said they should get safer conditions but they legally don't have to.

  • Very cool Hampis! They do great work! They could use some industrial safety guidelines though! Housekeeping and safety glasses would be a good place to start.

  • I expected some dungeon master to standing there whipping the slaves. that was awesome man! Dice

  • Picture the setting without the cymbals and it looks like an illegal weapon or counterfeit money factory...

    Great video Hampis, interesting!

  • τελειο φιλε!!

  • cool Hampis !

    Stu

  • All that hammering gets quite annoying.....but he final result is an outstanding cymbal.

I wonder how often they clean out all those metal shavings...
