they still people, i have buy 2 cymbal istambul and all are breaking if you give me you mail adress i send you the photo (i payed all cymabal's with a very expensive price) send me to d.dugrenier@laposte.net a solution, i can proove the faillure come from to your factury.. please a solution? you need to send me back a new paire of one 14 thin crash agop and one 16 crash cymbal mehmet...... you have your reputation to save,
I have been a drummer for 40 years, played ZIldjians Paiste and Spizziani (Itialian beauties!) and have ALWAYS wanted to see this process. Now I know....TTTTHHHHAAANNNKKKSS!!!!
They seem to be really nice sounding cymbals! But the people work in very unsafe conditions! No glasses, no ear protection, no gloves, debris all around.
Very cool Hampis! They do great work! They could use some industrial safety guidelines though! Housekeeping and safety glasses would be a good place to start.

NOW COMPARE WITH PAISTE'S FACTORY.
NolikargAven 8 months ago
Man, I'd like to have a similar, but a little more simplistic setup like this one.
You can't compare anything to the sound of a handmade cymbal!

Yeah man i agree

they are wearing no hearing protection, the lathe operator has no eye protection or gloves. Not the safest place to work.

MrJaapKooiman 1 year ago
@MrJaapKooiman i mean, just the conditions that they work in, no safety equipment, just seems kinda dangerous and sketchy
awkwardh1ppo 1 year ago
@awkwardh1ppo
Yeah it was very dangerous
But i don't think the authorities ever check

So THAT'S where my cymbalset was made.
Thanks for the inside look.
I play Masterwork Legends, suberb cymbals.

Well this isn't the US where there's OSHA or countless unions. That said they should get safer conditions but they legally don't have to.

All that hammering gets quite annoying.....but he final result is an outstanding cymbal.
I wonder how often they clean out all those metal shavings...
