@kcole939 Both are remarkable engines. The ls1 has repeatedly proven to make huge amounts of power and the modern Ford engines have as well. Both have 'pros and cons' when compared to each other. Tired of this Ford vs. Chevy BS. I for one prefer the ls1, it makes more power N/A, and needs less psi to make power if supercharged. Both are great engines.

I know, I'm a GM guy at heart. It's not Ford vs. Chevy BS, I love both. I also love how I've seen N/A LS1's pushing 500 RWHP, and BB 632's creating nearly 1,000 BHP N/A.

Bigger engines may need lower PSI's, but overall more CFM of airflow, it's just simple physics.

My point was, no matter what exhaust setup you have on a SBC, it still just has a plain sound to it. When you hear a 'Stang, you know you hear a Stang. They have a very remarkable tune to them.

@CBRuRedE It's not that I'm some Chevy traitor. I'm just an American muscle fan in general. I like my Camaro for it's relatively low .34 drag coefficient, and it's very low weight of around 3,000 pounds, since I've stripped the interior.

I like Mustangs for their OHC technology, sound, looks. Although, the 99-04's drag coefficient isn't all that good, at .36.

So, I just love both of them.

For a 3,000 pound car with a .34 drag coefficient to hit 160, it might only take 10 less HP, but let's try that out at 200.

.34 = 442 HP.

.36 = 462 HP.

Every MPH adds up, that difference grows.
