Hey thanks for watching ElfJuuza!! I appreciate it! I have other HnK vids I made just like this, so please check them out. I'd love to hear what you have to say. Be sure to sub if you're interested too! Thanks for watching! ATATATATATAAAAH!!
I dunno motherbrain, I love HnK...but to be honest, I always thought HnK 2 was like this weird afterthought in the series that just...well re-wrote everything. We'll see. However, I am thinking of doing one with the movie....
Thanks for your comment guys. Really appreciate it ^__^
Another Great One!!! The song fit perfectly with the scenes. I especially like the scene at 3:16, the spirits of the fallen warriors standing with Kenshiro.
It's funny a year ago there was hardly anything Hokuto related on youtube, so fans like myself took what there was. Thanks for putting videos up that are fun to watch and at the same time uplifting.
Wow, thanks...that's the coolest comment I've had in awhile...I hardly did any Hnk stuff cuz I was into the whole GIF comedy thing, but I'm glad you like 'em :)
For an anime like this I think the Disturbed version of Land of Confusion could be more fitting, because it has a darker tone, but it doesn't really matter. And I have to say, this is actually a pretty good video. Nice work.
Thanks for being honest man. I've noticed Disturbed being used quite frequently in many Hokuto no Ken AMVs, and you are right, it has a darker tone that fits the show, but much of the show talks about fighting for hope, staying the course and self sacrifice, and I just felt that this good just emanated that. Thanks NightTF, now, show me your Hokuto Shinken!!
Well here's the thing, both Saint Seiya and Hokuto no Ken were animated by Toei Productions around the same time, so it's very likely that the art for the animations would be similiar...thanks chiissu :)
This is a great video. I can see how you turn AMVs into an art form by including theory/concepts into your practice. To harmonize theory and practice is what I beleive truly creates an art form.
What I meant by that was that I liked the way you encorporated a good concept (matching every single frame with something relevant to the song) into your AMV. Thus, using both a good concept and practical know-how to create an awesome AMV. I hope this is more clear now.
wow cool amv this song is wicked sounds so 80s and goes with HNK so well lol , haha i liekd it wen the song says superman where are u now and ken walks in
hey naikano, really great video. The music choice is great. And i disagree a bit with you avp2gold. You normally don't create a video and then at some music. THe music choice happens before the video clips are created. Thats why it's not so distracting when video and song go along. Sure, every scene, matching the video is not the right way too. But he did a fine job :)
Thanks for your honesty. Please check out my channel too if you'd like. I'd like some other opinions too, and I'll check to see how you make your amv's for tips.
Believe it or not, it's kind've tacky when every frame matches the lyrics. The song doesn't dictate the amv, great amvs dictate the song.
Secondly, for one who appears very critical of his work, you have subtitles in the amv. Okay.. how can I appreciate lyrics and subtitles simultaneously. Never a good thing anyway. The dialog in subs was flat.
Thirdly, I like how you include the original sound along with the music. ATATATA! Brings greaty energy.
I think this is better because almost EVERY single frame in this montage actually has something to do with the song. It was an approach that I stand by.
I've got to admit, that I didn't attach importance to the content of the song in the first time I saw (heard) your montage. So, after watching this montage the second time, I realized that its better than I thought! :)
Sorry for that naikanomtom, I didn't want to attack you.
No dude, you're honest, and that is cool. This video was my homage to the series, and I'm hoping people will try to watch the show. Have any ideas for my next montage, because I'm going to stop for awhile:)
In your nex AMV, try to include the Disturbed cover of "Land of Confusion", I think its much more badass. Also, maybe include some Yu Yu Hakusho, since its design looks similar to 80's anime, even though its from the 90's.
I'm not too big a fan on Yu Yu Hakusho but I'll think about it when I'm able to get some footage. I know someone else used the Disturbed version with HKN, but eventhough it rocks, it's just not my thing. I just like to stick to the 80s...especially with that song. Thanks for the comments though, they're good :)
Epic video bro

I agree. If he say stars, then dont show stars. It just gets tedious after awhile. Use your imagination instead.
Otherwise it was pretty well made. I liked that you kept kenshiros voice intact in afew scenes.

Great montage naikanomtom, although it wasn't one of your best.
Truth to be told, I prefer your montages which have a lot of funny pictures, videoclips and not showing only clips from ONE anime or manga.
Anyway, great job ... :)
