caught EVERY Gibber show in Wilmington nc at Mad Monk, etc for last 20 years. Guy purely rules. Still has the head shake, but not as cool as when he had dreads back in 89! HAH. Pete Mathis and Big Mike used to round out his crew, with many a bass player unfortunately, but he always had quality players. STILL pop in one of his discs every few months and go back. Thanks for the memories Gibb!
Saw Gibb with Edwin McCain at Five Points Music Hall in B'ham in the late 90s. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. I really went to see Edwin and went away shaking my head in amazement at Gibb's talent. Guitar porn is right, TatooSugar!
Saw Gibb many times in Boone NC. I knew a guy that grew up w/ him, told me how great Gibb was as a human being, then I met Gibb a few times. My bud was right. What a guy!!! Rock on!!!
He was the first guitarist I ever wanted to emulate. Saw him a few times from '92-'95 in Philly, DC and New York. I also interviewed him for our college paper. A great guy and yes, loved the Dharma and Open Mouth Jar cds. Glad he's still around, tearing it up.

I saw him once in a tiny tiny club in Greenville (ECU). Blew me away then.

Gibb used to have a great band (The Gibb Droll) band. Their CD Dharma is great. Worth the money to get it off of ebay or amazon. Gibb rocks!!!
