They did a good job on the BluRay addition, I'm glad they included some of the unfinished scenes, like this. It's an interesting take, with a lot of unused material. Not sure if I'd prefer it or not, but my only gripe is that they took down Ki-Adi too easily (the final version was better in that sense).

@Awr002 These rough animations are the animatics, which are made right before/coincide with filming. They direct the action in the scenes that aren't filmed yet, so it was pretty far in production.

I preferred Kashyyyk battle and Cato Nemodia scenes to the original, but other than that the origianl was better, IMO. Though the Quinlon Vos scene was pretty epic.

@Bloodwolf1995 This WAS a real unused scene that's on the Blu-Ray. Many scenes on the Blu-Ray edition such as this one were removed from the film early on before they were completed. The DVD's only showed scenes that were removed near the end of production.

@Gyarretto7 my reasoning for thinking it was fake was because they said they were deleted scenes on a blu-ray disc was that 99% of the time its the ones removed near production and have good quality,i dont have the blu-ray discs myself and thought "holy crap the quality is bad,if this is real why does it look like something that i could make O.o" but if its from early on like you said then that explains the poor quality and i apologize for assuming it was fake

These videos are called animatics. They are very rough, pre-production CGI videos designed to help flesh out the ideas of the creative team, to decide what to keep, what to cut, what to expand on. That is why the quality, voice acting, and effects are all so rough. It's not exactly right to call them "deleted scenes," since they were never scenes in the first place, but they are real, as in, really made by Lucasfilm, and really a part of the production of the movies.

I wonder why they decided not to go with this idea and used the scenes we saw in the movie. I like the music score from the movie a lot more, it was more powerful and moving. But I liked some of the scenes from this unfinished version, too. You get to see more Jedi. This is what I read in the comic book adaptation. But idk, I guess I like either version.
