@Inuyashagirl234 If I recall correctly all endings of all type moon games happen in alternate universes, so essentially they can do what ever they want and not affect timelines. Especially when it comes to things like heroic spirits who are already removed from the time lines.

It also means that Shirou doesn't have to become Archer because a Shirou in another timeline already did. But, if Archer found the right alternate universe and killed the Shirou that became him, then the time paradox should erase his existence even though he exists outside the timeline. His "plan" was more like an insane gamble. Archer wanted to create a paradox where Shirou is killed by "himself" thus generating a rift in time-space. Archer hoped that the said rift would be strong enough to erase the existence of every Shirou in all the parallel worlds, thus erasing himself as well.
That's why Archer wanted to kill Shirou himself. Because otherwise there's no chance for that paradox to happen.

So by using the said link it was possible that by killing Shirou Archer may have ensured his own death too.

Both can kill Berserker. UBW can kill Berserker with Nine Lives Blade Works and the Reality Marble itself. GoB can kill Berserker with its shooting ability with the help of Enkidu.
UBW > GoB in terms of shootout. UBW faster and can make multiple copies of the same NP, though will have generally lower quality. Has Rho Aias to block GoB to summon the Reality Marble.
GoB: Shoots the original NP's. But, Gilgamesh could never use their abilities as they either haven't been used in legends yet or it's that Gilgamesh is something like a collector and could never master the NP's.
UBW: NP's are generally lower quality towards the original NP's copied, but number can span to at least the number of GoB or even more. Think of it as a copying machine, but there are flaws in the image. Faster because they're set up and primed to go like bullets in a magazine, loaded.
The story of Archer is so deep and in a manner of speaking I think many of us can relate to it. A man who fought to become a protector of the innocent in life, only to be betrayed by those he battled to save. Then he was cast into an endless cycle of having to kill more people than he ever saved to begin with. I mean, think about it. How many times have you guys gone out of your way to help people in need, only to have your trust betrayed later. Archer's story is AWESOME, yet easy to relate to.

Its a shootout it only takes seconds. GoB's disadvantage is that when in a sword fight the user needs to draw it out of the gate while UBW user just takes it out of the ground.

Dante without quicksilver is already way faster than Archer. In DMC 3 he ran down the tower at hypersonic speed. Archer is only supersonic.
+ Quicksilver is an ability that slows down Archer even further while Dante is speed up even more. His abilities wont be much help if the gap is too wide.
Also Dante has way too many devil arms + Devil Trigger further makes him faster..

Does any source state clearly what top-speeds each character can achieve? No it doesn't. The only thing to go on you have, is the FSN Anime which is an adaption of the VN. And DMC's facts aren't that well developed either with Dante doing thins in cutscenes which he's unable to do in-game.

But, if Archer found the right alternate universe and killed the Shirou that became him, then the time paradox should erase his existence even though he exists outside the timeline. This is more complicated than I thought it was

His "plan" was more like an insane gamble. Archer wanted to create a paradox where Shirou is killed by "himself" thus generating a rift in time-space. Archer hoped that the said rift would be strong enough to erase the existence of every Shirou in all the parallel worlds, thus erasing himself as well.
That's why Archer wanted to kill Shirou himself. Because otherwise there's no chance for that paradox to happen.

Also we had pointers that showed that Archer's theory was far from wrong. The mere fact Shirou was battling with his alternate self formed a strange link between them and allowed Shirou to peek within Archer's memory. They shared a link. So by using the said link it was possible that by killing Shirou Archer may have ensured his own death too.

Unlimited Bladeworks is called such because as long as Archer can maintain the reality marble, he can have access to literally limitless numbers of blades. It is not the act of creating swords, its the act of materializing his mind. It would stand to reason that as long as he has the strength to keep the "attack" going, he would have no trouble creating any blade at any time during the attack.

Also, a Reality Marble is the materializing the inner-'world', not the mind. The latter part is also incorrect, upon deployment of UBW, the caster pays the initial cost (~200 prana, I believe), it does not require 'strength' but 'prana' to recreate any destroyed armaments

GoB: Shoots the original NP's. But, Gilgamesh could never use their abilities as they either haven't been used in legends yet or it's that Gilgamesh is something like a collector and could never master the NP's.
UBW: NP's are generally lower quality towards the original NP's copied, but number can span to at least the number of GoB or even more. Think of it as a copying machine, but there are flaws in the image. Faster because they're set up and primed to go like bullets in a magazine, loaded.

The story of Archer is so deep and in a manner of speaking I think many of us can relate to it. A man who fought to become a protector of the innocent in life, only to be betrayed by those he battled to save. Then he was cast into an endless cycle of having to kill more people than he ever saved to begin with. I mean, think about it. How many times have you guys gone out of your way to help people in need, only to have your trust betrayed later. Archer's story is AWESOME, yet easy to relate to.

UBW has perhaps 500. Gob has more than 1 thousand.
UBW does not > GoB. The fake can never surpass the original.
2. Its not summoning rate that is slow. Its the rate weapons are drawn. If summon rates were slow Shirou should have just keep shooting swords until GOB lose.
Also GoB is in exhaustible. All weapons return to the Gate once fired.

Rider has a monstrous strength ability which greatly increases her stats, however if she overuses it then she will turn into the gorgon monster of legend, its sorta like mad enhancement with a body horror morph if you think about it. So in terms of pure stats Rider can overpower Berserker at the cost of becoming an uncontrollable monster that will kill everything that enters its territory. Otherwise no she stands no chance against Berserker in stats.

@GUNDAM00745 that's cuz Gilgamesh had enkidu w/c stopped Berserkers advance and made god hand useless, not cuz he spams better than UBW.
Archer cant beat Berserker the way Gilgamesh did,he lacks a disabling noble phantasm like Enkidu, for Archer to beat him he needs more range,kinda like how Archer kept sniping Saber in F/HA .
And no Gilgamesh does not have 1000 ways to kill Heracles he only has 1 and that is what he used to kill him repeatedly Enkidu+GoB spam.

I've only played DMC3 but my 100 ton impact Stinger cant kill a low level demon like Hell Pride in one shot?!

In the whole DMC franchise stinger was not once shown in a cinematic.Only 2 showed something similiar against despair embodied,yet if it was a stinger it certainly wasnt fast enough to hit him a he parried it even after attacking first,neither was it the 100 tons youre speaking of to crush his guard

@GUNDAM00745 I asked because archer's level of clairvoyance would allow to him to follow dante's movement and combined with Eye Of The Mind(True) would would be able exploit any move Dante makes to the fullests

@Apathy45 His ability wont really help him.
Dante without quicksilver is already way faster than Archer. In DMC 3 he ran down the tower at hypersonic speed. Archer is only supersonic.
+ Quicksilver is an ability that slows down Archer even further while Dante is speed up even more. His abilities wont be much help if the gap is too wide.
Also Dante has way too many devil arms + Devil Trigger further makes him faster..

@GUNDAM00745 I've read this whole discussion now and have just one simple question: How the heel do you have a means to measure the speed between Dante and the characters of the Nasu-verse? Does any source state clearly what top-speeds each character can achieve? No it doesn't. The only thing to go on you have, is the FSN Anime which is an adaption of the VN. And DMC's facts aren't that well developed either with Dante doing thins in cutscenes which he's unable to do in-game.
