why is it these things are so expensive? It just looks like a single 3w led diode connected with a battery and sequencer. You could make one for about 30euro. I have to say i dont know anything about the accelorometer

We're trying our best, but I've given up making promises about when they'll be on sale... wait and see :-)

Weight wise they're ~100gms each if I remember rightly. The socks will have a nice soft cover to keep our flimsy meat-based bodies on one piece.
