  • Oh and this is probably irrelevant (I hope ) but I did connect the 2 wires on my battery for a second and it made a burn on the metal that connected them.

Could this affect why i don't think it's charging ??

    Thanks :)

  • And btw I dont have a smart charger so have I just wrecked my battery by tryin I charge it with a possible incorrect pole charger ??

  • Thanks for a quick reply :)

    My battery is fine.

But the problem was I was stupid and when I cut my charger wires I didn't check which wire was positive and both wires are black and have no writing on them so I guess I'll hav to cut it again and do the opposite if u know what I mean :)

    Thanks for ur help again.

  • Hi

I just upgraded to deans and my charger is converted to deans and I have a male deans connector on the charger but it's not making my battery hot and the charger usually heats itself up also after about 2 hours but now it's not getting even warm. Do I have the poles wrong on the charger ??

    Help :)

  • @robcool2

Unless the connections before we're bad, that could cause the battery and charger to heat up. If you look at the deans connectors where you solder the wires on, there will be a small + or - next to each of the poles, Your red wire being + and your - being black. If they are switched, and you are using a smart charger, most have a short / reversed pole protection, and they wont charge at all.

    Hope this helps

  • @deathcube35 Dude, have you ever heard of your face? Just sayin.

  • which type of connectors are you using??

  • @falconairsoft1

    Dude... TITLE?

  • @deathcube35 ok could you post a link mabye?

  • @falconairsoft1

"Ok, could you do something yourself, maybe?"

Lol, kidding. But, dude.. have you ever heard of Google?

  • @Sargent239 you buy one :)

  • thats a very nice rof and response! i hate to say but its got a good 2 bps over my stock gr16a3.... then again you are running deans, so btw how do you install deans?

  • @r2323r23 Thanks! I actually cracked the gearbox a while ago haha xD It was a pain to fit another gearbox in, I had to mill out the lower reviver to fit a normal Ver. 2, Ares' gearboxes are proprietary :l I got a SRC gen 3 gearbox in now, it's really nice and comes already fully upgraded. I'm still running the stock motor, and the stock spring, I did a sound check and got 23 bb's/sec. Dean's are easy to install, cut the tamiya connectors off, and solder the deans on

  • @ATinnovation what would likely happen if i got my battery overcharged?i dont have a smart charger so im just leavin my battery charged d whole day, thanks.

  • @GsxRaider You definitely don't want to charge them for more then 2 hours, or just don't let them get to hot

  • just did a sound check on you video and you doing a solid 15-20 rounds per second.

  • @timmytime1793 Awesome, thanks!

  • This gun is really whiny. Did you tune the motor?

  • Did you gett a metal flash hider? did it come with it????

  • @CrazytaIk when the new version of the gun first came out Ares did a promo where the gun came with metal flashider and a second mag.

  • how much did the gun cost? did i cost around 181$?

  • @xmatti1995 $235

  • m4a1, is rates as one of the best airsoft actually

  • does it some stock with m110??

  • im getting an ares m4 cqb with lipo ready internals and a 11.1 v lipo with a bads holo sight its supposed to come on the 7th so i'll have the video up by the 10th

  • @bmxrider1615 Awesome can't wait to see :D

  • @ATinnovation video is up this is our review channel check it out

  • It CAN take normal version 2 gearboxes

  • -.- I know, I'm just hot going to buy a new gearbox.. The stock one will not work with a standard ver. 2 cut off lever. because of the electronic switch..

  • @ConstantRundown

Yeah, that one seems like it'll hold well enough as long as there are no crazy spring upgrades.

  • Haha it should be able to handle pretty tough springs.

  • @ATinnovation

Is it 6mm, 7mm, or 8mm? I don't know why you'd want too crazy of a spring though.

  • where did you get your ARES m4 and for how much?
