Leviathan (the second lp, you know) definitely had more of a prog metal/rock feel, and the addition of more clean vocals helped convey that. The bassist's growls and snarls on this cd compliment the, what I feel are, heavier, doomier guitar riffs on Remission. This cd felt almost like a doom/death album, while subsequent releases seemed to get more artsy fartsy. imo

God...they were insane at the time of this 'Leviathan' release . They went a bit on the proggier style through this one which was quite different from their earlier releases . I have listened to their new release but nothing beats this one in intensity and pure madness . It sent my head in a spin for days on end at it's first listen !
