  • Bob Barr 2012!

  • Lou Dobbs could really be helpful to you. really make friends with him. He is the man.

  • Does not matter check his stats ASSUMING paranoid hacks. His principles are right on the money. Bob Barr 2008 . com 08'

  • Just to make it clear:

A libertarian is one who understands that no individual or group of individuals has the right to initiate force or the threat of force against another individual.

  • And your point is what? Are you afraid that someone that wants to be in office actually cares? McCain and Obama have said one thing one day and the opposite the next and I guess your lazy ass bought it. It isn't about republican or democrat anymore, its about common sense. Unfortunately 75% of Americans don't have it. Those who do are voting for Bob Barr

  • No, I'm mot a supporter of Republicrats who are simply puppets for the banksters who seek more and more evil power... just to make it more clear: "First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win." -Mahatma Gandhi You can ridicule me all you like. Peace.

  • Ron Paul FTW! Fuck McBama!

  • He doesn't sound like a libertarian to me.

  • Care to say why?

  • I give Lou Dobbs credit for interviewing Barr and the other third party candidates. He actually seems to listen to what they say and trying to give them exposure. Hope he interviews Barr again very soon.

  • LOL...pretend news from pretend want-a-bees experts for not so pretended fools...

  • Agreed! I like Chuck Baldwin, but the "religiousness" of his platform does scare me a bit. I'd rather that not be an issue, but it is.

I think we (those who support(ed) Ron Paul's ideals of freedom and Liberty) need to come together in the next month(s) and back a single candidate. My vote is for Barr.

Otherwise, we'll be a people divided and our message of hope and change (sorry Obama) will fall on deaf ears.

    Thanks.

  • Although I agree from an ideological stance that that is the correct thing to do, as an RP supporter it disappoints me that our message has fallen to secondary hands and that we too have been forced to consider a lesser of two evils.

  • Constitution party ideals according to their mission statement are similar to libertarians but for one major difference: "restore American jurisprudence to its original Biblical common-law foundations". That scares me quite a bit.

Now, Bob Barr is not the ideal LP candidate just by going by the principles, but I think that he is the best choice out there for the time and situation that we are in right now as a nation.

  • Barr is an operative groomed to wreck the LP party. Follow his sudden change of heart and notice that he did just enough to be able to claim he was a libertarian(ha!).

Even Ron Paul said about barr 'well he certainly is SOUNDING like one of us'

Dont wast your vote on the GOP operative who's history alone makes fools out of the LP and any who vote for this CIA neo-con.

  • yup you are right thats why i dont support him anymore

  • Baldwin 2008

  • Yup! Baldwin!

Barr is no Libertarian nor is he libertarian.

He's lost ANY chance of my support after bailing out on us.

  • I appreciate you and I appreciate how you feel and I appreciate your input still I can not vote for anyone who I feel does not resonate in my heart and conscience. I will remain entrenched in local politics and vote my conscience rather than treating it as a horse race. Thank you glenda2. Peace, prosperity and love to you.

  • This man has got his shit together, Nader is socialist (great guy but still) ... Stop riding Paul's D**k!!

    BARR 08'

  • paul attracted some real smart people...but he also attracted an equal portion of know-nothing assclowns. i want no one supporting barr that doesn't understand the libertarian stance and philosophy. quality not quantity.

  • test

  • I suspect that a great many of Ron Paul's followers were new to politics or had no real grasp of the libertarian philosophy. If so they would all be behind Mr. Barr 100 percent. When I read comments from Paul supporters who dislike Barr and so therefore will support Obama or Nader I am convinced that they have no political principles or they do not hold libertarian beliefs.

  • I am a Ron Paul supporter, but when it became apparent that he would not become the Republican nominee, I started looking for someone else. I choose Bob Barr

  • I understand we need to show America that there are '3rd' Parties, with growing viability. At the same time however, any of us are Libertarians, or even those who simply align themselves with our Libertarian cause. Need to be very careful about feeding at he same trough with Greens and some of the other parties who are in reality opposed to our principles. I respect Mr. Paul, but I must support Bob Barr.

    Bob Barr '08 !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dr. Paul just wants to try & change the mentality of US party politics. The more votes you get into the 3rd parties, the more people will be able to see a shift in the mindset of what politics should be. Barr was stupid for not showing up & he tried to make up for it by asking Ron Paul to be his VP. Barr is delusional if he thinks he can win it & it hurt more than helped by not showing up.

  • Barr had a very good point in addressing the Ron Paul event. Ron Paul proposed a plan that would have lead to an Obama or McCain presidency, and a few fractured candidates getting some votes spread out to them. Barr is interested in winning and himself becoming Pres, not Mcbama. Paul is interested in sending a message, Barr is interested in being the message. If you want to make change, band together and elect Barr.

  • whoever advised bob not to go to ron's event is an idiot. he screwed himself over

  • Bob Barr had my vote until he insulted Ron Paul. How can you be a friend of liberty if you insult Ron Paul?

  • I was voting for Barr until he insulted Ron Paul the other day. I guess I will have to vote for chuck Baldwin.

  • me too

  • ANY BODY BUT MCCAIN OR OBAMA!!!!!!!!!

  • Ask McCain: what is government for? Do you agree with George Washington that government is a dangerous servant and a fearful master? McLame wouldn't know what to say...maybe his arm candy would help him a little. Obama and Hillary would say "How dare you ask that! I can hardly wait to be YOUR fearful master! I'll have your FBI file and sic an IRS audit on you in no time." We need Bob Barr to get votes. A lot of votes. It will scare President McLame straight. And destroy the Dem-Rep duopoly.

  • Chuck Baldwin 2008

  • Perfect.

  • this is why i can't support libertarians.... protecting the border isn't he problem... makign it impossible for aliens to live here is.

Force jobs to only higher people here legally... end of story.

  • I'm pretty sure it's illegal to hire an illegal immigrant, so what are you complaining about?

  • too bad you don't know that. It's up to the employer on if they want to hire legals or illegals.

Why do you think people people complain about the illegals.. instead of the people offering the jobs. Because they don't make that connection.

  • And which of the parties (dem/rep) is even adressing the problem at all other then the Libertarians? You belive there is a problem but you support people that wont even admit that the problem exists ??

Protecting the borders is only part of the solution, but we gotta start somewhere!

  • I don't really think it's a problem.. It's not the aliens.. it's the companies that hire them. But those are also the same companies that are allow to move their factories and offices out of the countries. I honestly believe there needs to be more government regulation.

But libertarians wouldn't agree with me.

  • As far as the companies moving thier factories and offices, the only reason that is possible for them is because of NAFTA, and other "trade" agrements. We don't need more regulation of illegal aliens in the work force, what we need is enforcement of the laws already on the books and the repeal of NAFTA and the like. Dem/Rep all want to say they are "helping" other countries form a middle class while destoying ours, and making thier corporate masters richer.

  • I'm annoyed at Barr for not turning up to Ron Pauls conference. He couldhave gotten many more supporters behind him. Now I just don't trust Bob. He had an opportunity to prove himself and he failed. Bobb has once again lowered the Barr.

  • He wanted to go but had another conference the next morning. Besides, it would have been bad for his image with Libertarians to be on the same stage as the Green party candidates.

  • WOW. Third party candidates get 3 minutes in months of campaigning!!!! That is amazing!!

thanks Lou, well at least you gave them 3 minutes..

Shame on the whole damn corrupt media putting on a horseshow

  • Fences don't work, they still get over, through, and or under.

People that want to come into this country to work is totally fine, we don't need to monitor these people, the whole argument really about illegal immigration is because they're milking into our system. So get rid of the SOCIAL SYSTEM!

If you want to blame someone for all the drugs and gangs coming here, blame NAFTA, they bring em here.

  • I agree. I'm for strong boarders and all, but if people want to immigrate it shouldn't be difficult, why should it? Also, when people talk about illegals draining social service, you have to consider that compared to many other countries we don't have many social services compounded by the fact that most of them are ineffective. Isn't it hard work and freedom to do so that helps people succeed?

  • That's part of Bob Barr's plan. To incourage Legal Immigration and discourage Illegal Immigration.

  • I just hope that we can improve the overall immigration process so that Legal immigration isn't so difficult for the poor. If it wasn't such a bureaucratic mess then there would be no reason to immigrate illegally in the first place.

  • END CORPORATE CRIME! RENEW AMERICAN DEMOCRACY!! OPEN THE DEBATES!!!

Stand up and unite for human rights! Stop funding the corporate war parties! They don't care about you and do not represent you! Help open the 2008 presidential debates!

  • Nader sucks.

  • Of course Libertians belive in procting the borders but baced on past history, fences were designed to keep people in not keep people out.

  • So the fence around my property is to keep my family in? Did Barr say anything about a fence? Burn "The Manifesto" and demand your money back from Ron Paul 2008

  • Bob Barr voted for the Iraq War and the Patriot Act. He is a traitor and a scumbag. Forget Barr and choose from Chuck Baldwin, Cynthia McKinney, or Ralph Nader.

  • If Barr is a traitor so is Ron Paul, as they colaborated on that vote. So which is it, they colaborated in the best interest of the country or were treasonous co-conspirators? You can't have it both ways. Ron Paul believes his congressional seat is more important than what will become of his supporters at the hands of Attorney General Rudolph Giuliani. He don't care about you and I. He cares about the Republican party. Burn "The Manifesto" and demand your money back from Ron Paul 2008.

  • Lots of Libertarians DO NOT support sealing the border! Not all Libertarians are extremely conservative like you, Bob Barr.

  • no but libertarians believe in open borders only when you have free market societies and full open trade between 2 countries

  • Exactly. You can't have open borders and a welfare state.

  • This video seems to have been edited. Something is missing 35 seconds in.

  • Probably a commercial break.

  • 11% in nevada!! He is doing very good but libertarians we need you to vote libertarian in november so next election cycle. we can get better press coverage and perhaps be included and debates.. we are slowly turning this country to a 3 party system again!! its very exciting because it will be better for the USA and americans!

  • good interview. Still don't know how I feel though about his attitude towards the third party unification conference. It's legitimate if he's a viable candidate to get into the major debates, and looks bad if he's not and doesn't make it to the podium with McBama.

  • more good answers from our candidate. and it rapid-fire sequence in live broadcast none-the-less. do you think the other 2 candidates would be able to answer tough questions in that manner? Barr needs to be in the debates so the American people can see what a political fraud their 2 major parties have become.

  • He's got my vote.

  • I wish more candidates would talk about the real issues as Bob Barr does, however, Obama and McCain are too busy slinging mud or putting lipstick on pigs.
