I don't know which is better mainly cuz I don't have a PSP. My opinion is that DS is better..from what I heard from my friends at least. Games Consoles are meant to be.....just that, Game Consoles. The games in PSP aren't really that great(Although that may be just me, I love fantasy games) The Ds doesn't have great graphics but really....who needs graphic when you're playing touch screen style?(Graphics are more for like racing and FPS games). The DS holds most of the "Fantasy Games" EX. KH,FF

on the other hand, the screen on the screen on the PSP2 is quite nice. I want to access the internet and am also concerned about storage. here are my concerns:
internet, storage, game library (Rambow six rules, zelda rules) and appearance.
The DSi can play MP3s, has and internet browser, and has a slot for a SD card. It only has one zelda game (Phantom Hourglass), but there is another one commin out this year. And if you search around and your lucky you might find a Rainbow Six ROM you can put on a R4 card.

FYI all music bought on itunes come in ACC format too

3 words. psp custom firmware. I can play gameboy advance, gameboy color, nintendo 64, ps1 games, and pretty much any other old school system. Psp is definately the superior handheld system. End of debate.
PSP rules the Portable Systems, NDS sucks, but the upcoming NDSi would reach up to 75% of the capabilities of the psp (With it's new built in features), unlike the NDS that is not even up to 50% as capable as the PSP.
Overall the PSP rules!! with it's built in features (especially it's 333mhz processor), separately sold accessories (especially it's GPS and Camera which I have :) and ability to play other system games, even NDS games.
The only thing keeping the NDS alive is the touch screen.
And the massive amount of people who prefer DS over psp, judging by sales.
DS rules the console war, not psp. :/ psp doesn't even have half of DS's sales. you may prefer psp, and that's fine, it's a great system. but don't act as if your mere preference is enough.

Adding those prices together with the price of the DS itself will end up at the same price as the psp alone or even more. AND the DSi is the same price as the psp with it's built in features, still lacking a movie app.
um. A dstt is $6. a SD card is $5. that's 11 bucks dude, psp is still mroe expensive than regular DS. And with the Dsi, Dsi is a whole $1 more. And that's if you don't find a better deal.

The Nintendo DS is a okay console. It has decent & classic games, the recent DSi can take photos and edit it. it also has wifi.
But PSP is definitely a better machine because of it's more superior graphics, more serious games, allow video and music playbacks, also has wi-fi.
Long story short, DS is more based on old and classic. PSP is more based on the new and superior graphical game for the future

Do not claim that Nintendo is original. Yes it has great games but do not kid your self, you can not walk ten feet without tripping over a Mario or Zelda game that has bean remade, reconfigured, or re something. Nintendo's strategy seems to be how long can we re make a game until the public is rioting outside our doors. Personally I don't care for either of them I fell out of handheld gaming a while ago.

the focus on the PSP's games has just left unlike the DS which fully fills its purpose: to play games. I'm not trying to dis on the PSP but the PSP has gone away from games and more on other features. I never use m PSP games but i mostly use the other functions for it

i am looking to replace my MP3 player and want something i can play games on. im a zelda fan.
on the other hand, the screen on the screen on the PSP2 is quite nice. I want to access the internet and am also concerned about storage. here are my concerns:
internet, storage, game library (Rambow six rules, zelda rules) and appearance.

The DSi can play MP3s, has and internet browser, and has a slot for a SD card. It only has one zelda game (Phantom Hourglass), but there is another one commin out this year. And if you search around and your lucky you might find a Rainbow Six ROM you can put on a R4 card.

Can I not find a logical comparison of a comparison of both systems? but to put music on the dsi it has to be a specific format thats really hard to find, and at least the psp has internet and videos unlike the dsi, and u can buy it a camera too.and the internet on the ds( when u buy it separately) is WAY crappier than the psp's and besides the psp's internet isnt bad at all it is meant for games not internet

bite me asshole. with the dsi when you go online you download the internet browser free; do you know what that means, it means it dosent cost way more than the psp. and to put music on the dsi you can convert the songs to ACC format in 2 min flat if you use itunes. FYI all music bought on itunes come in ACC format too

PSP rules the Portable Systems, NDS sucks, but the upcoming NDSi would reach up to 75% of the capabilities of the psp (With it's new built in features), unlike the NDS that is not even up to 50% as capable as the PSP.
Overall the PSP rules!! with it's built in features (especially it's 333mhz processor), separately sold accessories (especially it's GPS and Camera which I have :) and ability to play other system games, even NDS games.
The only thing keeping the NDS alive is the touch screen.

DS rules the console war, not psp. :/ psp doesn't even have half of DS's sales. you may prefer psp, and that's fine, it's a great system. but don't act as if your mere preference is enough.
And lol, no. psp cannot play DS games. it can run some of them, but nowhere near a level which can be widely, if at all considered playable.
And who cares about features? I want a game console please. Not an ipod, or mini-laptop

Now, if i wanted a game system. I'd get a DS, or a PSP. (personally, would get DS if i had to choose, luckily i don't)
but this is a handheld GAMING war, not the handheld everything BUT gaming war. So don't act as if psp is some hierarchy on gaming because it can play an entire season of House.

Now Speaking of Prices, the psp os is more expensive b/c it comes as an all in one system, on the contrary the DS comes as gaming system only, you will have to buy separate apps for music (and movies if it can play any common movie format). Adding those prices together with the price of the DS itself will end up at the same price as the psp alone or even more. AND the DSi is the same price as the psp with it's built in features, still lacking a movie app.

um. A dstt is $6. a SD card is $5. that's 11 bucks dude, psp is still mroe expensive than regular DS. And with the Dsi, Dsi is a whole $1 more. And that's if you don't find a better deal.
