Hey i have a 1980 camaro and I put a 454 in it but the engine brackets for the alternator are too tall and my hood does not close. I got the engine from a blazer, do you know where I can find the brackets?

Posi 3.73:1, 350 Turbo trans, and goodwrench tires with no rubber left on them lol. I've got some radials for it thow.

Swap out the motor mounts for a big block and upgraded the suspinsion. Big block springs on the front and air shocks in the back.

how on gods green earth did you get it to fit under a flat hood, all i got on my 79 camaro 454 is a old offy manifold and a Q jet and there above the fenders, with drop base air cleaner it sticks through the hood, mine sounds just like it, i got summit turbo mufflers, and instead of a loud fuel i got pete jackson gear drive to listen too :)

LOL, trust me it dosent fit very easy. Its pushing the hood up about 2 inchs. You cant really see it in the video thow. Im about to get a high rise Edelbrock RPM air gap intake and a taller air cleaner with a 6" cowl hood thow.

Ya after I do some otherstuff I want to do to my camaro I might get a quiter fuel pump. This one my dad already had and hadent ben used so I just put it on there with a new fuel line.

Nice car. ive got one too but do you know were the fuel filter is located. the reason im asking is there is a six inch hose connecting the steel fuel line under the passenger side door?Anyone KNOW? please help me i want my baby running.

I have mine in the back by my fuel tank and before the electric fuel pump. If you cant find yours try running down the fuel line and you should run into it.

Come to think of it... when I pulled off my stock fuel line I dont think there was a fuel filter on it.
