Omg!!! He lost his virginity at 15!!!! Haha I was wondering about that cause I read in a beatles book that George lost his virginity at 17 so I thought " Hmmm.. When did Paul lose his??" and he just answered my question!! :D
I was really on the fence about stern and always thought he was kind iffy but this interview really changed my mind on him. That was probably one of the best paul mccartney interviews we'll ever hear
Didn't even know this interview existed. This is the great thing about YouTube, you never know what you'll find. Thanks for taking the time to post this. Howard posed questions rarely asked of Paul and far different from the Beatlemania bullshit we've all heard before. Paul, while still somewhat guarded in his answers, was far more candid than usual, which made Paul interesting again. Howard did a great job on deviating from the norm and giving us a great interview of a brilliant man.
Paul new full well how ill George was through 2001. He knew George wanted to keep it as private as possible, so when asked, he'd say that George was doing fine. George died in a house that Paul arraigned for him in L.A. It wasn't Paul's house, but one he leased when he (Paul) was in L.A.
@vulcanicspice Paul knew full well that George was in his final weeks. But he wanted to deflect the "death watch" so George could spend his last days in peace with his wife and son. So every time he was asked, he'd say "George's doing great". It was a way to protect George's privacy.
Fame is not easy to manage. Somethings you have to read in between the lines. Paul is/was a blessed child/man. And even with all the problems he seems to rebound and handle things well. He is a gentleman. Sort of has a Donald Trump factor. I mean the business side of things or the hidden things.
Correct. I'm from Australia. I think he pushed the smut angle a little bit too far. Some of that stuff is okay (as that is Stern's trademark of sorts), but when a subject feels uncomfortable with it, you need to know when to pull back.
that fool on the hill vid was always a rumor that pauls dick was hangin out of his trousers iwatched it closely an it was just his shirtail

GREAT interview :).
So sad to hear Paul say that George is doing great and all that when you know that he didn't make it in the end :'(.
