I didn't mind the part where he runs out to the garden because he details what a plant of chives looks like. I thought is was interesting to distinguish it as a chives plant because there might be a a newcomer that may not know what chives look like..
Very good recipe I did some changes to it and added cream of chicken instead of chicken broth since I didn't have any and also added ginger ,cardamon and cinnamon ( and blended the soup in the blender in the end ) added butter to olive oil and and garnished it with toasted nuts and cilantro ,wow it was sooo good.Thanks alot for posting this recipe.I'm making it again today :D
