  • I'd just have an Axe, small pan, saw, shovel, assault rifle, knife, some garbage bags, lots of socks/undies, maybe a pair of pants/shirts, garbage bags, heavy weather proof coat, gas mask, iodine/Acetaminophen tablets, gas mask, sleeping bag, some rags, and finally flint & steel.

Screw the food. If you can't survive off whats naturally around you won't last long.

  • I don't mean to sound cold but realistically end of the world why would you help someone else's baby? You wouldn't have enough formula and water if it was the end of the world.

  • I have a case of whiskey in my stash. For barter and lifting of moral.

  • I'm trying to do this for my house my dad says this wont happen till hundreds of years; Bullshit;

Iraq war, Afghanistan ; Libya, 9/11; Syria- IRAN CHINA NORTH KOREA 2012 fuck this i'm Joining the Military as soon as I graduate I'd rather live on a base- I cant sit here as a civilian and die!!!!!!!

  • You sound like Nutnfancy. Great video mate.

  • Ahem ! USA has martial law. Check the NDAA Bill.

  • That's camping not survival. Survival is when you don't expect it to happen.

  • @Thatdudeoverthere128 Wrong. As the title says, he's "preparing" for survival. And informing others about the right kind of items to have prepared for a sudden systematic collapse. Given the times that we live in now, it's very possible for chaos to erupt at any given moment and it's highly recommended to be prepared for such an event.

  • Don't forget about air we all need air, not the stuff with polonium, radon, anthrax, rage_zombie virus, or vx300 in it either. Lots of sucking rubber and activated charcoal be sure to have your own portable activated charcoal maker. Hope you like eating through a straw. Don't forget about the sun we all need the sun be sure you have your own. You can come over to my house I won't shoot you I'll give you the shirt off my back, because life isn't worth living if you live in fear.

  • Some really good practical advice, mate. Thanks for sharing. ATB

  • @theSEMTutor

I couldnt agree with you more, as for survival, depending on the situation its almost always water first. The rule of thumb is 3 days without water, yet 3 weeks without food. This means in 90% of the situations water is one of, if not, your number 1 priority only after treating any wounds you might have.

  • Great video... more people need to prepare for disasters and this helps.

Whether or not your part of the world is falling apart for any reason (anywhere in the world), preparing for emergencies is the prudent thing to do. Look to survival first, which means food first, water second, shelter next. Everything else is just excess "stuff" not needed.

Learn to survive: how to make fire, collect/purify water, make shelter and forage for food.

    Good luck!

  • Great video and survival preparation. But i think you should consider a lot more food that doesn't required water to cook or make it eatable. In a national or world disaster water will be highly valuable and control. People have survived without food for weeks and even months, but if you go without water for even just one day everything will be come a desperate survival situation for you and you family. Consider the area where you live. (Climate, Water, Hunting, Relocation.) etc.

  • america is gay

  • You have some good tips, but I would never let my kids go to your house.

  • You cannot replace your pictures of your loveones.

  • you are now on the watchlist and will be placed in your camp real soon! Also your guns and food will be confiscated. Your ip address is now tracked, thanks

  • What I never here any of these survival people say to do is drill a damn well and put a hand pump on it depends on where you live. You'll never run out of water. Oh, and lots of guns and ammo for the scumbags that want to take you water.

  • NO FEMA CAMP FOR YOU COOL GHOST! PS DOGS ARE GREAT/

  • hwat disaster would you need al this?

  • @MrOlekul martial law which is coming to america very soon. the gov. will try to seize all firearms. and there will be a resistance.

  • @wesdct waste of money :P if teh goverments wants to zeize all guns, you have no right to defen your hobby of weapons.

  • @wesdct firearms are no match for planes and tanks tough guy,

  • @MrPoophead1000 i will go out shooting rather than fucked by our own military

  • @wesdct Wow your a real tough guy, you would rather die in america rather than just leaving, how patriotic. You must really love America, you know the US is not the only country in the world. There is life outside the US. I left and I love it. Fuck America! Go down with it if you like, Ill just watch while drinking a pina colada.

  • @MrPoophead1000 where do u live now

  • @wesdct Why do you wanna move" or just try to find things wrong with my new country? Im in South America. And no its nothing like the US says, no kidnapping drug cartels rapes and so forth, alot of americans live here most know about the camps and coffins in the US. Everyone loves it here and dont wanna go back home.

  • @MrPoophead1000 i would move but for now im stuck here so i have to defend myself

  • @wesdct I thought I was stuck too, I just locked the house up and dipped, Ill come back god willing after the camps and coffins and after russian and china invasion, if my house is still standing, but material things aint worth my life. Everything can be replaced

  • @MrPoophead1000 i too would rather die in america than leave this country ... that's why most of us here are going to survive , we're commited , all the way ...

  • @MarquisdeLafayett What is it going to say on your tombstone, "here lies Marquise he loved his country so much." you obviously dont have children or anything to live for. I guess if you have nothing to live for, find something to die for! PS you guys are outgunned just give up.

  • @MrPoophead1000 outgunned by who ? our nation has the most powerfull military on the face of the planet , our civilian population is armed to the teeth ...i think i have alot to live for ... but what kind of person can you be if there's nothing that you won't die for ... granted there's very little that i would be willing to die for , but my country IS one of them , and this is coming from a very self centered person mind you .

  • @wesdct Yea thats what the jews said!

  • instead of bleach you could actually use a piece of copper yes it does work and it will also allow you to store the water for a long period of time i did a test just for the hell of it i took 2 5 gallon buckets filled them with water nd in on i put a piece of copper in and kept it out side for 1 month and the bucket with the cooper had absolutely no algea growth and less bacteria than without the copper

  • If you have kindle there are free books that were put out in ww2 about food value and storage. Simplify and learn to cook from scratch and food storage is easy plus cheap!

  • Live in the country but you folks that think you will live by hunting are insane. If you think you will start farming to live you are deluded. If you are not gardening now you won't be able to then. Raman noodles! Newwspaper has more value

  • "Without food, you'll die" - that's deep, man. XD

  • Dont forget rodent traps for food

  • Very good presentation, btw. You covered a lot of the bases. Nice job!

  • If you are concerned with the nutritional value of your foods, and you should be, anything made from hemp ie; seeds, hearts, protein powder, oil, etc is worth storing or having on hand.

  • Not for nothing but "old Roy" dog food is garbage. Just sayin

  • BREAKING NEWS: Without food, you'll die!

  • Wow, hurricanes , twisters, earthquakes and even volcano’s I can understand but "uncertain times" I think the paranoia has gone just a bit too far. Time for a reality check.

  • Multi vits and flaxseed oil

  • Thank you Ryan.

  • its real easy for an experinced woodsman country boy farm hand hunter etc. to survive such as my self me and my friend went in the woods to pratice surviveing with nothing but our knives and a pack of crackers and we did it

  • u miss playboy magazine

  • guessture

  • I love your video dude, I know I will need 400 lbs of dry goods per adult to last one year so rice n beans is my focus with lots of condiments to spice wild game as well as the bland grain based foods, As far as my dogs go I feed them nothing less than good ol "dog chow" loaded with the goods 18 bucks 48lb bag I noticed you have ol roy sitting their look into those ingredients and compare what your feeding your friend with anything else you can find ol roy is pur junk, thanks for the info :)

  • water is key. I got a LifeStraw for $20, good for filtering 1000 liters supposedly and weighs 2 oz. katadyn makes good filters too, but much more expensive. Steripens might work as long, probably not a good long term solution. LifeStraw is hard to find in US, only two places have it got mine at greenbeetlegear on the web.

  • Very informative!!! Keep up the awesome videos!

  • When I watch those survival videos, I allways remind myself as lucky since I'm living on the countryside. Alot of moose in my area.

  • im all for survival planning, doing it myself but this is the first video that I seen where someone went into anything other than food and water. I Store hunting equipment, store food, store seeds, medical supplies, work on building a gassification generator, and gardening tools. I also get books on home remedies, farming for my region. The list is almost endless.

  • Great video continue to make more!!!

  • Great vid mate

  • americans are so cute, lol

  • @blackarmour100 <-----Pack A Stinky is still pissed we killed osama bin laden. lol

  • Comment removed

  • @celrse Yea, 10 miserable years for osama! Now the mofo is dead. No matter how long it takes mofo... we'll get you! Word up Pack A Stinky.

  • for emergency survival food contacts james at (317)681-9271 $5 dollars a bag all very nutritious will ship for shipping and handling. hoosier valley foods we have breakfest lunch and dinner and even desert, at least 2 servings per bag. no taste great how do you ecpect to protect your family without hoosier valley foods 10 year or more shelf life......or email fda50@yahoo.com

  • A good idea is if you evr go to hotels or things of the sort take all the little nic nacs if you will, mini soap, shampoo, etc

  • typical american bullshit, why have 10 guns for each person? why dont you learn basic bushcraft and survival skills? this isnt long term

  • @TrinityRewind well mate, ever heard of trading goods for goods.

  • @kx06 no one will trade guns for food, when shit happens food and water will become the most imprtant resource. if you dont know how to trap animals or know what plants are edible or how to find water, your fucked long term

  • @TrinityRewind well thats when you shoot that mutherfucker and take his food and water, or make him or her your bitch. simple enough right

  • don't forget to buy more than 1 can opener

  • For a pocket water filter, look at the LifeStraw. Widely tested and used for almost a decade for humanitarian purposes around the world.

  • Amoxicillin isnt good for much anymore, too much resistant strep in communites. Try a flouroquinolone (URIs, UTIs, abdominal stuff, antrhax) and some bactrim (incase you get a skin infection with MRSA).

  • so f**** true man,im starting to stock up too. but not on guns.

  • Potassium/Iodine tablets in case our nuclear plants blow up, collidol silver and amoxicillian. I grow medicinal herbs and am teaching myself how to prepare them and what they are for. And a meeting spot or plan if you get separated from ur family

  • good thing to get is powdered eggs and milk. You can put it in a ziplock and stick in a bag in a bob if u have to run on foot. Also not only this you need to stock up on seeds to plant food. Camping survival.com has a lot of products at great prices

  • good thing to get is powdered eggs and milk. You can put it in a ziplock and stick in a bag in a bob if u have to run on foot.

  • Good job and allsow if i where you ill buy a rocket launcher :)

  • nice job, keep up the good work! economic disaster is what i fear the most,i live in a small city in n.y.when 50% are on government assistant they will be first to try and take your goods.

  • extremely smart thinking man

  • check out the new air guns coming out-amazing self sufficient weapons-..357 cal..1200fps..the dude killed a flippin buffalo!

and automatics.. the drozd made by makarov..remarkable

  • gunpowder is also important.if you can make and store your own gunpowder youll be in good shape.

  • 1:34 through 1:38 is epic. Seriously, this is all great info that will sadly be lost on most people.

  • Prepare to be Sustainable by starting now. The laws are being written to hamper gardening. You must secure a remote retreat and buy supplies and seeds to grow your own food. This collapse could last decades. Biospharms has info you need to make your family retreat sustainable. Sub to

    BIOSPHARMS

  • I agree that disaster is just around the corner. Our infrastructure in the US is so fragile, and vulnerable. Excellent video! Thx!

  • I thinking towards pre-cut plywood to secure windows or cover broken ones.

  • "Without food...You'll die."

Couldnt have put it better myself!

  • The more I watch these survival videos, the more I feel fortunate of what I have already. I'm setting on 6 acres of hill country packed with wildlife. I have a hen house with 10 chickens & 1 rooster. I have a 10,000g rainwater tank. I have been working on food storage for quite a while, lots of guns&ammo. One suggestion is to have lots of peroxide & rubbing alcohol for anticeptic. A good iron cook set is good to have also along with a seed bankGoodluck with future prepping. Thanks for the video.

  • @Kaltwasser45 lucky ill probly die since i have no funds

  • @xfucktheworld831 If you aren't too proud to use coupons then you can get a alot of buy one get one free doing this. Get in touch with local survival groups for good tips. There are ways of doing it cheaply. We bought our own eggs and hatched them. We don't go out and spend much money , we take advantage of sales and coupons. I traded stuck on local gun websites to get ammo. You have to get creative if you ahve limited resources. Goodluck man.

  • @Kaltwasser45 thank you !!!

  • Might want to do a little research on eating rice soaked in cold water instead of actually cooking it with hot water. Uncooked rice without any sort of water used will swell in your stomach as the stomach acid heats it up.

Rice soaked in cold water won't allow the rice to break down the starches, sending them on to the intestines along with stomach acid, which can cause damage and/or ultimately prevent them from absorbing nutrients.

  • @07Cav My limited research on the issue of rice soaked in cold water doesn't come to the conclusion you shared. What exactly is your source?

  • good video but i bet his wife is like... "do we really need that much rice??" YES WE DO BITCH!!

  • Great video.

How do you conserve water for long time storage... ???.

  • Holy fuck how cheap food is in USA!

  • Candles are good but they create the risk of a fire. Keep 5 gallon buckets filled with water located through out your home along with a few fire extinguishers. Putting your candles in empty food cans with a side partially cut out to allow light to escape may help prevent a fire if the candle is tipped over. Don't flaunt what you have. Someone who is hungry will get to the point that they will kill you and your family just for a bite of food and a warm blanket.

  • Bleach is only good for about 6 months. After that you need to replace it. To remove the bleach from your water pour it back and forth between 2 clean containers. This will re-oxygenate the water and remove the bleach. Stock up on coffee filters. They are cheap and will be very good to filter your rain water before running it through a water filter.

  • You can buy 50 pounds of rice at Sam's for $25, the membership there is $40 a year but if you are stocking up you can buy huge amounts cheaper than Wal-Mart, I personally have a dehydrator and a vacuum sealer… I keep tons of stuff that I have sealed and stored in 55 gal steel drums with a rubber O ring seal which keeps them bug, rodent and water proof, you can buy them very cheap used !

  • Great vid matey!!

  • hei, bro, can you live for long term without sex ? i think you also need a women to stand by. get one to joint you.

  • You know, I tried to chat to other survivalists but I figured out most of them are really paranoid fat fuckers. I figured like trying to distance bike, the best way to shed the bicycle weight is to begin with the rider. What amazes me about so called survivalists is they do not even care about there own health in what and how much they eat to begin with. What good is being a survivalist if your stocking up on potato chips and frozen pizza.

  • My reaction at 7:54.

Wow, didn't think it could carry water. Oh yeah, they could be gloves if you don't have enough on hand-...for corpses? 0_0 *Awkward Silence*

  • Make absolutely sure your bleach has no chemical additives, frangrances, or dyes. Also make sure you don't use bleach alternative, just sodium hypochlorite. Be safe :)

  • Martial law..yes...we have what we need....a pistol and that rifle wont do anything....make homeade bricks of plastic explosive

  • if martial law takes over which would mostly be the case seeing that people would freak out. What would be the point of of all that? Wouldn't they like raid your home.

  • need to make sure you use PLAIN bleach and not the fragrant stuff.. one other thing to think about, in case of an EMP attack, is to get tins to put your batteries, electronics or hand crank lights in and wrap in foil so they are not damaged or discharged from the EMP.

  • jezus, friends and bullets, where are they when you need them?

    nice video mate !

  • Toilet paper and salt. Two things I didn't see there.

  • @Killbore1 salt dehydrates you, waste of fluids

  • @2010blackhawkdown Salt preserves meat. You likely won't have a freezer so keeping any venison or squirrel meat will be a task that can prove to be hazardous if done wrong. Salt makes things much easier.

  • @2010blackhawkdown You still need 1500mg a day to live.

  • I wonder if he's used these supplies already...lol

  • Do not consume bleach

  • @TonyEternity Not neat no! But you can put a few drops into water to make it safe to drink.

  • Food items should use all your water to prepare. Get foil packaged foods that require NO water.

  • weapons shouldnt be the 2nd or 3rd thing u talk about it should be last most ppl only talk about weapons in a protective sense..trapping on ground and in water ..ecspecially in water is more effective as in terms of survival than talkin about guns

  • Times UP! You ready?

  • Child abuse is a terrible crime, and those who abuse children should be severely punished. But in the our zeal to pursue offenders, we have inadvertently created a system that itself abuses the very children we're trying so hard to protect. A System Out of Control:

  • whew... ok I'm on the right track. TIP: the fine print of tuna near the nutrition info will say if it contains bones. TOO DISGUSTING to eat, unless you're a cat (my cat loves that I bought an entire case of the stuff) I have found MANY "albacore white" of Bumble Bee, Chicken of the Sea, and others contain bones- seriously it is sickening to eat so just check the cans. Aldi canned tuna is perfect- inexpensive and no bones-

    soup is good too.

  • good advice fella thx

  • @frankylovesyall I'm practically a pharmacist :) And yea I've only done enough scoped shooting to get good at it with both eyes open, but I'm an irons guy.

  • @frankylovesyall I had a (22mag-designed) scope on, yes, a 10/22 (in stainless nonetheless! but it kept flopping out of zero at medium ranges or with different zooms. I like irons a ton instead, and this one's are flip down even so they don't get smacked off. I'm going to get a 9mm conversion barrel for the Glock and some 17's mags, and it'll work fine :) Not really interested in .45, besides, that's for one of my friends. I can already diagnose all problems w/ the 10/22 and Glock. No money tho.

  • thumbs up for the starving baby

  • The warning US people ignored

    Search For

    "BUSH OBAMA DESTROYED US ARMY"

  • nice choice on the glock but i think you might want to get a good 22 for hunting small game also maybe a nice rifle would be very helpful

  • @boozeye66 Current armaments: 2x 22LR, one semi one pump for vermin up to and including groundhogs (MANY confirmed groundhog kills with my Remington Fieldmaster, shot placement for the win), 1x 30-30 WInchester '94 (original pre-64 parts) for deer and medium game (humans...), 1x 12ga Mossberg 500 w/4 buck for close quarters,1x 7.62x54R Mosin Nagant for engine blocks, and the Glock in .40 for concealment (even though it's really hard to hide on my tiny frame). I got this covered.. Or you mean OP?

  • Fascinating that the weapon of choice is a Glock 19. Good choice, too. I dropped a hammer on my Glock (23 4th-Gen), the gun was fine, the hammer had a dent. It fell out of my holster today while mowing the lawn, fell five feet down a sheer wall, and cracked a cinderblock. Totally fine, I brushed it off and reholstered it. When the world ends in nuclear fire, there's just gonna be a ball of diamonds and Glock Tenifer slides wandering around in space.

  • @KoburaCape Problem is, you won't be here to see cause you're gonna shoot yourself first. LOL. Put a little loop, like a leather thong around your hammer. Yikes, hope you're children weren't standing around you at those times.

  • @moinmt No external hammer. Nothing to close on it. I mean I physically dropped a HAMMER onto the gun. Without significant wear/tear, deliberate modification, or damage that I can't even imagine the weapon sustaining, a Glock will never EVER >EVER< go off...unless you pull the trigger. And it'll always go off when you pull the trigger. Sounds like a gun for me :)

  • and on a second note - the ones that will survive are the boyscouts. they've been trained in bushcraft and have been told to prepare for years. some actually do.

  • for people planning to ride things out in your home... DONT. your home will be looted for supplies. you can try to defend, try to fortify youselves inside - but houses burn and i bet youll surrender. DONT PLAN ON STAYING IN YOUR HOMES. Plan on running to the nearest large stand of woods with resources like streams. DONT plan on surviving on stored food. it WILL NOT last as long as youll need it to. LEARN TO TRAP AND HUNT people, plz. Use caches hidden near your retreat spot to be ready.

  • @ when stocking up, please try to avoid empty calories and msg. I've watched several of these videos and I've seen huge amounts of wasted money on things that are not good for you. Avoid fluoride, MSG,If you don't have lots of money, I'd suggest, rice, flour, yeast, lard, oats, dried corn, and beans. If you hunt you'll need lard, or at least it will come in handier than you can imagine. I know these things as I lived out in a tepee at 9000 ft. in the mountains of Colorado for 3 yr's.

  • How about a tripod to cut down on the jittery video?

  • @takforalt this is a continuation from above...The rest of his list is pretty good.Just a few suggestions. If you have lard (very cheep stuff, you can make biscuits, fry bread, pie crusts, and yeast raised bread. It will give you the fat you don't get from things like rabbits and squirrels, or even deer and birds. Also, you can make soap very easily. Look up the recipes.it's easy. I have stacks of that my 20 year daughter had the foresight to make. You can take small amounts along anywhere you go.

  • dont forget 550 paracord

  • also collect rainwater outside..

  • @smartacus88 ruthless i fuken love it

  • To avoid many such disasters,e.g. economic collaspe, agribusiness food shortage, join your local "transition town" group. See: transition US.org Start building community, buy and eat locally. Grow victory gardens, community gardens, support local small farmers that grow food organically.

  • @candidate9able thx for the reference to transition town. Sadly, the 3 organizations within 100 miles of me have "no meetups scheduled". Even the SHTFers need a some leaders, eh?

  • no condoms?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • @35343ful good point, you dont want to have a baby during a time like that, also a good thing for girls to use birth control, I have no doubt that some would take advantage of the situation and overpower you. your comment made me laugh though, but definatly a good idea.

  • @35343ful This guy wants you to stock up so he can raid your shit later.

  • @35343ful I think living underground eating dried beans is pretty much a libido killer.

  • Don't worry about me in a disaster coz i watch bear Grylls I've got this ;)

  • If water is at a premium, how will you deal with sewage? Not many people think of that. Google 'The Humanure Handbook' by Joseph Jenkins.

  • You need to find your local Mormon food pantry. They'll sell cheap bulk food to anyone (they don't care if you're Mormon or not). Much cheaper, larger containers, nitrogen packed.

FYI: Don't give food out to strangers EVER. They talk, and you'll be overrun.

  • @angurisloud thats always been a hard thought for me, watching kids go hungry while we eat, but I know it would be a bad idea and a huge risk that most likely would cost my kids food.

  • Great video, you covered everything. When people ask me why I prepare like this I ask them why they have smoke detectors and car insurance if the world is so perfect and there's nothing to worry about. Nothing wrong with being prepared.

  • @bbhatnag1 You need 1800-2000 calories as an average human working a somewhat physical 9-5 job. You wont burn that much hunkered down in a house, plus thats what the guns are for, 75 lbs of deer meat has a lot of calories.

  • @BrownieOverdose

for survival you dont need equipment...you kneed knowledge,if you have equipment and dont have knowledge your fucked, but with knowledge you can do everything even without equipment.so instend of gathering your equipmant increase you knowledge of survival....and knowledge never breaks,it cant run out....its always with you
