Hey Guy's your based outta Dallas right? Well I'm coming down there for the 2nd week of christmas break. It would be cool to see you guys out there doing your thing lol. Maybe show me a few things :)
Is there a certain way to run while doing parkour?Or is that just how you run?(Watch closely how you do your arms befor you take off)Because I seen alot of ppl who does parkour do the exact same thing while some others run like that the whole way....Just wondering because I am new to parkour and only been practicing for 6 days now.
@parkorparkour Hey! In regards to the run, your right there is a difference. The lower straight armed run can be used to make your run look more fluid when you are having to run at a slower speed or when your precisioning your feet in a run and need a controlled precise stride. It does sacrifices on speed, so if there's a lot of running room and your just hitting one obstacle at a time you can pump your arms like normal so you get optimum speed. Of course it's really about personal preference...
@parkorparkour So test them out,see which type of run fits you the best for different situations. But the goal is to have as much speed with as much control as possible. As for training spots in Humble,I currently don't know any good spots there. But I would check out the local schools, parks, and downtown if you have one. A picnic table isn't too bad though.Be creative and do as much as you can with that table. I'll send a video that will make you want to spend hours training at just that table ha.
wow haha that was awesome!
