Yea, but there is a bad side to this........There are LEVEL CAPS, you can't take your characters to level 99 in each story, you can only do that in the final chapter.

that'd definately be handy later on, you'd be able to move forward with Ceodore's story with a weaker Kain and still be able to keep up since Kain has better gear (meaning that you could take time later on to level Kain up more as a Holy Dragoon and get more HP and MP

Yeah, it's like Microsoft Points. At retail stores, you can buy Nintendo Points Cards, and it's $20 for 2,000 points. You set them up online and you can use them to download stuff.
