The way to fix 3 red ring is too open up the Xbox, stick tooth picks in the fan to stop the fan from spinning then put a blanket on it and turn it on, you know it has worked because the Xbox will turn off (if you don't believe me, the reason this works is because the heat of the Xbox resolders the loose wires back together which cause it in the first place

the reason why you have the red ring is probably because of that intercooler. it takes up most of the power from the power supply so the console has little power causing it to get the red ring. dont trust those intercoolers, they damage your console instead of making it run cooler

You could also do the towel trick. Turn the 360 on, carefully wrap the 360 in a few towels or thin blankets, and then let it sit like that for at least 20 minutes. Only works a number of times, but the RROD is a 360s death sentence, no way to ever really fix it except to take it to a store, in which case Id just recommend buying a new 360.
