@The0atomsmasher Hydrogen has more than twice the burn rate of acetylene in open air, but acetylene probably releases more energy. You would have to chose which one is "more powerfull" based on the application.
How thick do the walls of that gun have to be?! ...in order to withstand the explosion? It's obviously plastic and not the carbon fiber titanium that you'd think it'd have to be!
my best guess is they have a filler valve and they fill it with HHO. if they pumped in the HHO while the air was being released it would not need to be pressurized. HHO is a volatile gas, not much is needed for a big bang. Anyone that knows a bit about HHO generation knows its measured in Litres per Minute or LPM. If that canister holds 1-2 litres of air or HHO and its all being detonated at once, the power it creates will be great. think of filling a balloon with HHO, those explosions are huge
thats fast but it not mach 1 if you play the video from 1:24 then you can see the potato leave the barrel and for 1 more frame its probably closer to 300-400mph
The cell and torch are great. Thanks for making quality products. To increase HHO production I decided to go with a 1/32" gasket that's a composite of fiber and rubber and made by Fel-Pro # 3157. Auto Zone stocks it for only $4.99/Sheet retail.
Amazing !!! and so is the cell that I just received from you guys. Will be putting it together soon, I hope, (if the wife can take this HHO stuff much longer, Ha), then I'll let you know how it does and if she doesn't leave me, Ha !!!
depends on what you shoot out of it.. and how much HHO you put in.. the shots that go through the plywood are about 1/3 liter of hho.. kicks like a 410 maybe..
if you use a full liter of hho and a wet tennis ball it kicks like a 12gauge... sounds like one too.. the video doesnt do it justice.. weve launched one tennis ball verticle and we lost sight of it.. probably over a half mile high.... hang time was like 20 seconds.. or so it seemed.
no it should not be all you need to know is how to build an HHO generator which is not that hard either. then its just like a potato cannon. it has the same principles just a different fuel
I was listening to this on headphones. Jeez - sounded like a mortar shell going off! Need one of these to scare cats out the garden.
