wasn't listening at all. i quit a long time ago. for your information, i have a good friend from RS and we FB a little bit back and forth, and he told me to check out new barrows armour, and look at how much more jagex fucked up RS. so i looked at google. not there. then i came to YT to see if i could find a vid. turns out, as i fast forward for about 30 seconds, the whole video is him talking.

If you wanted a simple review you could read the description of the video or go to runehq and read about it there. I don't usually bitch about their videos they seem like cool dudes. They have made a misleading video about the armor though so I thought I would defend it.

The hood is glaringly better than ahrim's hood. Ignoring the massive price diffrence, the diffrence of 1 less magic attack is made up for in the massive 4+ in prayer, while the defenses are similiar between the two (akrisae even being higher overall than ahrim's, it's not relivant). Point is money aside the hood is better for it's significant prayer boost and insignificant 1 less magic attack in comparison.

James, you should really try the robes ( not the mace ) again, but at Glacors. The added prayer bonus makes it so that you seldom if ever need more than a prayer renewal, and their defense against fire surge is so low that a difference in speed compared to Ahrim's is very slight. I use Ovls, Prayer Renewals, and a soul wars cape, and it really does work well.

Akrisae is only really useful at glacors IMO, where magic attack bonus isn't really essential, and your trip is limited by the number of prayer points. But then again, it takes less than a minute to bank so it's still pretty useless.
