i feel so bad for grievous DX His Gfriend died, and he couldn't even find her body, then that SAVAGE Dooku EXPLODED him, rewired his brain against his will and made him forget his Girlfriend DX This really fits him. He was a really nice person when Gfriend was around.... :'( I HATE CHU DOOKU!!!!!

yes, but the sith (cuz Idk whether it was dooku or sidious or another guy) planned the explosion, and told grievous that the republic (and more so the jedi) planned it. this and the fact that the republic fought against his people after claiming vengeance on the huks, only made grievous' hatred towards the republic grow, until he ended up fighting along side the CIS to defeat the republic. and I believe he lost about half his body in the explosion...

i think you are right. The only thing that you are missing i think is the fact that he survived the exposion fairly well, but the sith operated on him (while he was unconcious) to make it look like he was damaged in the explosion and told him it was the jedi like you said. This is another example of how GL sucks at eliminating cool bad guys, just remember darth maul. His death was so lame.

actually, yes he does have lungs...and a heart, and his eyes and his brain are still intact... though he isn't human, he is from an alien species called the Kaleesh, and the only reason why he has a robotic body is because of an explosion that destroyed a ship he was in, and the only way to treat it was to transfer his vitals into that robotic body...

The only problem was that Obi-Wan's defensive lightsaber dueling style got the best of Grievous's ultimate offensive technique. If Mace didn't crush Grievous's confidence (and his chest) I bet Grievous would've beat down Obi-Wan.
