  • Really nice job...

  • Hey boss (:

where can I buy the same review mirror that u have?? I searched every where, and I didnt find it (:

  • Really cool looking bike. I have a 2010 1200c and I have blacked out my exhaust added black headers and shields and I'm thinkin blacking out my wheels and spokes would look cool. If you dont mind me asking, about how much does powdercoating run?

  • Fantastic bike!

  • Im not a huge fan of the bobber style, but your craftsmanship is amazing. Great job, it looks very clean and extremely well finished! Sweet bike!

  • i want one like to be my first bike

  • Bad ass fucken ride man you should bore that engine and make it a 1200cc you'll fucken fly down the highway!!

  • Hey boss :)) I was trying to find the same as your handlebars on nashmotorcycle.co, but they have different kinds of bars, and I dont know which one is like yours. Could you help me with that??

  • @61kwt looks like they've added and changed the names of some of the bars. The ones like mine are called "Gimp Hangers"

  • How did u remove the Chrome vance and Hines logo from the exhaust? Also, how do the forward foot controls affect your cornering vs the stock position? I hit my stock pegs once in a real Sharp turn and read online that the forward foot controls are even worse when turning. Is that true? Thanks, sweet ass bike BTW, can't wait to get some spare cash and start my customizing soon.

  • @mrrshotshot the logo is rivited on so you just have to drill the rivets out. The forwards doesn't affect the cornering at all. I scrape my exhaust and my kickstand but never have touched a foot control.

  • Hey, where did you got the mini gimps bars???

  • @61kwt I bought them from Nash motorcycle co.

  • Nice clean work. Everything you did seems to match up nicely.

I thought of installing the whitewalls on my bike, but I then realized that they may look out of place on my silver model. They look good on black bikes.

    Cheers

  • What type of bag is that? i couldnt understand what make it was when you said it

  • @scooned sorry man it's a Licks solo bag

  • putting a spring seat and chopping the fender but running into some trouble... How did you or how do you hide all the wires, computer box, and power commander???

  • @X8SICKBOY8X i have the 2010 model which doesn't have the ecm and wires in the fender. You can put it where Harley put it on my year bike which is stuffed behind the battery cover.

  • Hey man can you let me know more about your seat? I want to get a springer seat for my 2011 48 but I cant seem to find a set up like the one Harley sells. I would rather not get Harley's set up as a lot of people have them. Did your seat come with all the required hardware i.e Seat, Springs, Cover plate etc?? Trying to get a good set up all in one so I dont have to make one. Thanks..Awesome bike btw..really great job bro.

  • Hells yea!

  • Great video! Would have liked to hear it purr :(

  • @funknando007 thanks, i have 3 other videos up with it running

  • OMFG AMAZING

  • Hi! Sweet bike...we also have a 2010 that we made similar mods to. we want to shorten the back fender, but are unsure how to cut it. Can you offer any pointers?

  • I'm a newbie rider. Planning on getting a iron 883. Just wondering what your Hightower and weight. I'm 210 and 5'11, but by no means I'm fat. Just wonder if the bike will look funny me

  • for armpits to tan !

  • Any chance you could help me out with what length cables I need for those bars, I plan on throwing them on mine. Are those bars 1 inch or 7/8th? If you dont mind putting in the time could you list the part numbers for those cables from Drag Specialties. Thanks for any help. Im guessing you choosed some of the custome length cables at the bottom of page 809 of the fatbook? If you could list part numbers you would help me out a ton. Thanks!

  • also mate, are your bars the '16" midget gimp bars' from nash? it's just that in the vid you call them mini gimps? thanks again mate!

  • @mcdono86 yeah sorry man they are the nash mini gimps

  • mate I love your bike! I just bought a new Iron after seeing yours. Just a question about the tank lift. How did you hide the stock wiring that's under the tank on the frame? Also, how did you cut the rear guard? angle grinder? and did you paint straight after the chop to prevent rust? thanks heaps mate!

  • nice ride! wher did you hide the ECU module which should be under the rear fender?

  • @amoi0067 The 2010 models doesn't have the ECM under the seat. It's under the battery cover

  • Wow! Love the rear fender and the tank lift. Those subtle changes make a huge difference in the look

  • ive been looing at abot evey single 883 bobber on yutube and yours is by far th very best IMO

  • Hey, I like this bike, I'm taking ideas for my conversion of my 883 R to a bobber I'm thinking about make a similar paint and a Z bar 10", one qüestion ¿what are that tyres and it have the speed code as the originals? !!!Thanks from Spain!!!

  • @Edwardasdf123 the tires are Avon Venom whitewalls and the speed code is the same as the stock tires.

  • @557racing thank you

  • Unlike PaZQa187 I'm really digging the white flames on the tank. I think it accents the seat perfectly. Its a bad ass bike overall. Harley Davidson should make these on the assembly line.

  • put together very nicely. This is definitely the best iron ive seen on youtube so far

  • hey man i tried the tank lift on my bike and it wont let me go higher than an inch and half on the front without the very end of the tank hitting the frame.. did you do any mods to the rear mount for this???

  • sweet ride! i just bought all the parts for mine. did you go a bigger size on the back tire?

  • @bdon42001 No when i had these whitewalls on they were the stock size tires. The strutted rear end with the fender chop did make it look like a wider tire

  • sweet ride! i just bought all the parts for mine. did you go a bigger size on the back tire?

  • bike looks killer. i have a 2010 iron ..our company J.C.C is in dallas ga, and we specialize in custom parts. we make a coil bracket and tank lifts. tripple tree covers..please chk out our facebook page (jeff craig customs) we have a water jet that can cut just about any custom design for ya,, thx

  • Nice iron got one myself, where did u get the clamp and what kinda clamp is it for speedometer that's not the stock one and stock one won't mount there

  • @dirkjardiggler i used an autometer tachometer clamp from summit racing

  • man your bike is exactly what id want mine to look like, love that paint job too. I'd want to do this to mine but i dont have a scooby to do anything, are you on a bike forum or anything where youve posted instructions or do you think itd be easier to just go to a garage? thanks anyway! great looking bike too

  • @Cexuup yeah man i am on XLforum"dot"net/Vportal the vportal is the important part of which forum it is. My username is StogieJoe

  • @557racing Sweet! ill sign up now and begin stalking your ass. thanks bud

  • what models is your handle bars???? please

  • @BRIANwt77 these are the nash 16" mini gimps

  • @557racing thanks man,,,,good bike!!

  • thanks man,,,,,,,,good bike!!!!

  • @BRIANwt77 thanks man. I just put up the new vid of how the bike sits now

  • sick bike man. i got a 01 sportster i had powdercoated and painted that im trying to get to look kinda like this. but got a question about your bars. how tall are you and how do they ride? they seem too tall. im 5'9".

  • @capcbr21 im 5"10 and these are 16" and they ride fukin awsome

  • nice bike man im looking to cut the rear fender on my nightster and was wondering did you have to take off the rear wheel to do the mods??

    thanks

  • @187kartracer yeah the rear wheel will have to come of to do everything to it

  • Great job! I like the white on black. The blue dot lens were a great idea ;)

  • @bdorr67 thanks man

  • Your bike is Amazing. good work ! but please take off these flames . without flames it would be the much better

  • @PaZQal87 uuuuummm no.......didn't build it for your pleasure....either way i changed the bike completely so it dosn't look anything like it did in this video. But i didn't build it the way it is now for you either so enjoy

  • @timmcveigh1 I just unplugged all the wires and re routed them under the tank and wrapped the shit out em with electrical tape to a smaller bundle.

  • This bike ROCKS! This is exactly what I am going to do to my 08 nighster. I want to get the a black version of the the Biltwell seat. Curious how you mounted it. Does not look like your seat is available on the Licks website any longer but you can get it from Biltwell. Just not sure about the mounting gear. Thanks so much for taking time to do the walk around and helping us other guys out! I live in Alpharetta GA.

  • @08Deanster i found a seat pan on ebay. Search for springer sportster seat pan or something like that and you will find it. It's pricey but i really didn't feel like making it permanent in case i sold the bike and the person didn't want the springer.

  • really nice bike nice job. did you cut you fender struts?

  • @thekcinnay5238 Thanks man, Yeah i cut them about an inch past the center hole

  • Love the bike, I've done a lot of similar mods to mine. Where are your front turn signals? Also I don't see any wires going through your bars, did you drill the bars yourself, and where did you hide the wire entry/exit?

  • @gr8stdane I took thwe front signals off. I don't like the look of them. The cars i drilled a hole on the bottom center and inside each control grip and put alot of chafing protection and internally wired the bars. Hope that helps on your build
