  • I was trying to figure out which one I had back in the days, ehm, was it this one or II or 98.

Your vid was funny dude, simple, but enjoyed.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • This is a great game head to head.... CPU is hella easy to beat but head to head it's awesome.... Doesn't have all the stadiums in this particular version but it's game-play it shines..... World series 2 is a much more of a challenge vs the CPU .... It also has all the stadiums....

  • Yeah, sports games always have that potential of pising you off more often than any other games. I found it pretty hilarious you were hoping for a homerun and the other team got one.

  • is this the english game of rounders twisted by the americans?

Why is it the world series? Only americans play it so it can't be the world unless americans think they are the world and noone else exists.

And why is it american english? do they have to put there own stamp on everything, stop tampering with english stuff.

    England rules!!!!

  • The WSB for Saturn were the BEST!They should implement WSB 3 to the 2K series ,bring it back.

  • Nice vid, very entertaining to watch, thanks.

  • EVEN TO THIS DAY... GREATEST BASEBALL GAME EVER MADE!!!!!

  • 1:18 looks like the screen let its self go

  • This game is really well done... The cpu doesn't really give you HUGE competition like World series baseball 2 ... BUT it play's a smooth sweet game of baseball and head to head I like this version even better than the 2nd one.... This game shines when you go head to head with a buddy.... GREAT game!!

  • Bro your CUSSIN!lol Great VID man

  • lol, yea man this game had me gettin pissed for real, lol, still a great game though no doubt =)

  • No love for the Angels? lol kidding!

Nice gameplay video, man! It looks nice and seems to play well. I like how when you put the ball in play, there's no cut to the outfield or infield, it just scrolls to the outfield or infield.

The last two baseball games I played were MLB 2K6 for PS2 and MLB Powerpros on the wii.

  • Ya know I was thinking that after I uploaded it, like why didn't I choose the Angels, lol, but it's all good cause I have always been an A's fan and the Dodgers are just cool cause they represent LA and have the LA symbol instead of just an A symbol as their logo.

But yea this was my first time trying the Saturn version of World Series Baseball and it was damn good I must say, controls and gameplay are awesome for a baseball game =)

  • if you have any old broken computers laying around, the cmos batteries work fine in the saturn

  • Oh wow, thanks for that tip because honestly I do have many parts laying around. I will definitely be trying this! Thanks GamerBoy

  • No problem dude, those batteries also work in the dreamcast I believe. (speaking of which the one in my DC needs changing)

  • looks pretty cool actually :D well doen dude

  • Thanks man =)

  • wow im gonna have to get this one,i always wondered what this one looked like on the saturn

  • Yea me too! I had the Genesis version for years and finally got around to checking out the Saturn version I had laying around. It's great, much better than the Genesis version in my opinion.

  • one of my fav.baseball game of all time

  • Absolutely man, I hope to try out part II as you said it's much better. I will definitely be checking that one out later after I play through more of this first one

  • @LMA187

First one is better head to head.... second one is far superior playing the CPU because it offers much more of a challenge.... definitely get both games because there both cheap and both great....
