I'm currently finishing up my PPL and this is the aircraft I fly for the mojority of it. I'll tell you that this airplane is VERY aerobatic. When learning stall spins this airplane had no problem flipping inverted. It is not near as stable as our Cessna 150 with wind gusts but as you see in the landing video you just flare at 10 feet and fly level and it settles. Very easy to handle. Highly suggested, plus it can run on automotive gasoline!
Be careful what you're doing, because if you're flipping inverted in a spin, you're doing something terribly wrong. I'm a competition aerobatic pilot and do more spins than you can shake a stick at. They're positive G maneuvers that even a brick can do.
Be careful man, the SportStar is great, and yes, very maneuverable... Even so, the G-Load is +4/-2... Even doing positive G maneuvers can get a little dangerous... Don't forget that it is a LSA, not a Pitts...
Yeah.. :o) so nice & friendly aircraft... (more : 3 x wDOTevektorDOTcz/at/en/index_at_enDOThtm)... and is most IMPORTANT... that is one from as secure as possible :o)
Just so you know.. and im not trying to be a smart ass... but a rec approved pilot... even a learner pilot can fly these beautiful planes.. i may be starting my lessons and this is the plane i will be learning in.. so yeah look into it

Too bad this aircraft isn't rated for aerobatics, pchris. Stupid pilot's famous last words: "watch this!" Be careful.

But it is rated for spins. Spins involve inversion. Most aircraft are certified for this.

I'm going to be a private pilot soon, so I can fly "better" airplanes, but this one is definitely on my short list for what I'd want to own.
