office -dot - xerox -dot-com is a start, and you can search, chat or call a sales representative on the specific product you're interested in purchasing.
This is similar to the wax ink style that I remember back in the early 90's. It wasn't all that great. I prefer the Epson 9 color inkjet printer. This is only 4 colors.
Its just like Xerox to sell 50,000-dollar units to small and medium sized printshops who are locked into the lease for all eternity, and then directly compete with them for the printing market. Big business will squeeze out the middle class entrepreneurs who are already struggling in this economy.
Here, here. I have seen by far the worst rapings (and I do not use that word lightly) by Xerox leases in my town of 150,000. It is incredible how overpriced they are!!
@directdirect... Bologna. We used Xerox in all of our print shops and they almost put us under (we bought all of them new and I would swear than some of the machines were used but refaced). We now use another brand and have for many years. Some Xerox models are great (wide-format). I just went against a XEROX bid for 2 copiers 35ppm & 25ppm (both color) on a 5 year lease not including service and the ticket was $42,000. I KID YOU NOT!! needless to say the company did not go with XEROX....
I think it's exciting to see Xerox take solid ink from their desktop printer to a fully functional office digital printer. It's obviously a "green" product compared to color lasers.
So thats what hey mean by the xerox machine at school.
