so all you had to do was plug the hex signal into the light and it would display that value? thats pretty cool. saves time and money from building your own damn decoders. they shouldve made those years ago
They actually did make these displays many years ago, this particular series of displays has been around for about 30 years. The earliest and most common types are packaged in translucent red epoxy instead of ceramic and glass, but they are electrically identical. The display shown in the video has a 1985 date code.
I like LED signs...ever since i first saw them i have always wanted to build one, but i see the wiring and
the resistors and all the parts and i see it hard to put it together...but i'm eager to learn maybe you can teach me through this website...i will appreaciate it a lot for your help. thank you.
