  • I'm no piano player, but I can hear the key changes and it sounds like that would be hard enough to play in just one key.*****

  • Eeco I love the way you go into 3 Albert's songs. ou've got a mean left hand. That base is a killer. You just can't sit still. Beautifully done as all your other video's. Just listening to you makes my day, everyday.

  • Find a drummer somewhere, a bass player, and maybe even a vocalist, go to the local jazz club, and make yourself known man.

  • thank you so much for posting these boogie woogie lesson videos

  • Eeco, I give 5 stars to all your video's because you are helping and entertaining & have taken your skills to a very high level. The more time you take to break down your playing so we understand certain moves, the more people you will help all over the world who love boogie like we do. Please share more about your history of playing piano & the studies you had along with more lessons.

  • my oh my... where is your next concert? where can I buy your CDs?

  • I love this video, so many great songs and smooth changes and rhythyms , damn Eeco, you know how to get those rockin and smokin, you got it buddy, you got that really touch to the piano that som many would love to have :)

Fats Waller was a stride player, like James P Johnson and stride is difficult to play, but it would be nice to hear Professor Longhair's classic, 'Tipitina', played as a piano solo, it's such a beautiful song :)

Top rating again for the man at the piano :)

  • I'd like to see you playing some Fats Waller .. I don't know if you play it, but I think you'd like songs like Russian Fantasy, Zonky, etc.

  • Wow :O ...lol... I can't believe it you are soooo good!!! I was speechless after that video, your key changes had such confidence and the change between songs sooo smooth. Each time you changed key it gave me goosebumps. :O You have some serious talent Eeco.

I have a question. How do you learn all the different intros & endings you use in your own songs? Are they ones you've previously learnt or made up? Or are they just improvisation based on certain patterns you've learnt?

  • Thanks :D, it makes me feel good all those reply's I get. I just sat behind my piano, and just started. I knew that I was gonna play some different songs, but the intro and the changing to different keys, I dont know, I just played what came into my mind.

  • Another great vid. Dixie medley plus boogie...CLAP CLAP....your check is in the mail...lol.
