u got it in a well ventilated area? i found that keeping the back of it arround 6 inches away from a wall realy helps it loose heat.

i watercooled mine and i got the cpu running at like 50 degrees. so it runs faster :) i lost the warrinty but the stupidly overclocked graphics card will last longer :D

If the PS3 is PAL, u cant play NTSC PS2 games or DVDs, it needs to be PAL. im still to find out if the blu-ray is region locked but PS3 games, works fine. i got gandam, sega golf, need for speed and everybodys golf from japan. Resistance and spiderman from USA. fear and rainbow six vegas from UK and all works fine lol. I cant play UK GTA sanandreas or any of my other PAL DVDs on my PS3.
