Notice all the Chinese defending the COMMUNIST Chinese government. Am I suprised? No. Is it sad? Yes. They've already done their damage. Also, I will agree with the comments below that the west has their own media issues - but it's more of a lazy one.

@chatcentral Whatever bad China did do to Tibet has been exaggerated greatly by the west to say the least. Besides, Chinese people are well aware of the flaws of the CCP, the censorship of the Internet and the corruption amongst party members to name a few. Yet, the reason Chinese people oppose any change to another government is because for once in over a century, China is enduring stability and economic growth.

@chatcentral As for the wrongs done by the CCP under Mao Zedong, even Chinese admit that China was a police state under his rule, and yes, his rule under the Cultural Revolution brought anything but stability. However, the CCP, as much as westerners might hate it, has changed for the better after Mao's death, when China acquired stability and economic growth. To sum it up, CCP has its flaws today, but it is the best option for most Chinese to live under.
