That's a dumb remark.

PhysX accelerators were thought of before quadcores came into the picture.

Most new games only utilize 2 cores, the other two are left unassigned. If only one of those two were to be assigned to handling physics... you'd have a 8MB 2,4Ghz Core handling physics ALONE.

One 2,4GB core with 8MB cache > PhysX card.

And the 128MB that the PHysX card has to offer aren't impressive either.

2GB minimum and 4GB recommended RAM will do the trick.
