If I remember right, it's about a guy who wants to see his girl again in heaven, but he blew up the gates of heaven, "I can't go home again", which means he's now forced to go into limbo or hell. Not sure if that's 100% accurate, but that's what I remember reading in an article once.

I know if I blew up the gates of heaven and could never see my girl again, I'd be in tears too.

Fuck man. This song is exactly why Claudio is not only my favorite singer, but my favorite writer. This song really makes me feel for the character as he looks out on the dying Fence, knowing that he caused it all. It's souch a powerful thing, this song.

By the way, this song, together with a few others, like Mother Superior, The Willing Well: IV - The Final Cut, In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth, made a great soundtrack when I was reading the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher. :) There's just such a great mood created by the music. Love it.

Actually, the comic is based around Claudio's interpretation of God creating the Fence consisting of several planets and stars interlinked and putting the Mages in charge of Man and the Prise in charge of the Mages. He leaves instructions that if Man tries to mess with it then the Mages and Prise have to stop them, but if it's God playing the game and they fuck with him then he'll destroy everything.

That was my nerd moment of the day.
