This is the very first song I ever played on my `ukulele in public and actually sang at a kanikapila. I sang it last year at Waimea Valley Kanikapila with Lanet Abrigo, he mom of the Abrigo `ohana. I was horrible. I croaked like a frog coz I get laryngitis. Then I couldn't remember all the words to the 2nd verse. Just when I need a song with the "ha`iina verse", this one didn't have a ha'ina. Nobody laughed. They all had such aloha. Mahalo for sharing.
