  • ah....what a band! excellent document!

  • Thats what that hot German chick says when you try to pull down her drawers...No No No! lol

  • We know everything, we use the bus

  • on which television stations are there still so delicious girls, the songs and bands declare so in this case, Uschi Nerke? Incidentally, it is still active and moderated every Saturday afternoon from 13:00 bis 15:00 clock on the German radio station "Bremen 1" an oldies show called "Beat Club". The show was known for unique live performances great rock bands. Deep Purple was here several times - every single gig great, like this one with "No no no". With love from Germany in 2012 - stay rockin'!

  • Wicked guitar playing. Like the witchy looking hat

  • EXCELLENT

  • Damn baby, they did have hot chicks in the 70s

  • i love this era of Ritchie Blackmore he plays the guitar right, better than anybody else just more soul than the Rainbow live era to 1993 Deep Purple : (

  • Ritchie is just increadible..........

  • I saw Mr. Blackmore smiling...

  • Ja,Ja Ja Baby.Hot chick

  • Do you like Mickey Mouse NO NO NO Do you like Deep Purple YES YES YES

  • Who the fucking hell is the girlie at the beggining? She´s so fucking beautiful! I won't be able to sleep tonite, just because she´s so damn sexyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!. Can´t believe it.

  • @klinkerkk shes not that beautiful man..

  • @MysterioFan02 It's so nice to know that every person thinks in a differrent way. I found her so sexy, and you tell me she's not. That's cool. Thanx. What do you find beautiful on a woman?

  • @klinkerkk Im just saying the way you put it, it sounded like shes the hottest woman alive. 'bout that question, you mean what I find beautiful in a woman's body?

  • @MysterioFan02 Not exactly, man. I meant what makes a woman beautiful. Being something in her body or something in her existence (mind, behavior, smell, presence...)

  • @klinkerkk well she's got to have the looks, but other than that obvious answer, her smell, smile, the way she walks and talks, and so many other things it's a bit hard to answer.

  • @MysterioFan02 The way it is, bro. Any woman could be perfect for any different man. Really hard to explain why some of them drive us crazy and others, even being supermodels-like, simply they don't. I hope you get or have a woman that you can keep beside you. Deep Purple rules anyway. Praise the Jon Lord!.

  • @klinkerkk and obviously praise Ritchie!

  • do you like Mickey Mouse NO NO NO NO NO

  • I love the guitar tone in this. I have a silvertone 1484 and a GBX out of toronto that gives this exact tone and even better. It has a real meaty crunch and all kinds of serious tone. Now you know my secret. Altec speakers on the 1484 really brings out rich sound these amps a able to give.

  • What is this Ritchie? How it's possible, that my guitar can't play this song as good as Ritchie's one? :-D

  • @loldacz xaxaxaxaxa

  • I love Ritchie's hat !

  • Ritchie Blackmore is BETTER than Jimi Hendrix!! And HeavyIronMetalMaiden is little fuckin' bitch!! HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!

  • does he also say justin bieber no no no

  • Deep Purple is the best rock act of all time, man!!

  • Didn't know this particular song, but it sounds great! I love Ian Gillen's reference to "Mickey Mouse"!

  • This is better than the original recording. There is a certain deliberation in the way the hook note is executed, it is utterly captivating.

  • @sudhavishwanath: Most bands on this German show on first public channel ARD (1965-1973) had this format because TV director Mike Leckebusch gave them all possible artistic freedom......! And his visual techniques were just groundbreaking for this time !

  • The absolute peak period for Deep Purple. Fantastic. The 80s hair metal crap - my generations "music" - NEVER had anything on this. I spent most of the 1980s listening to 15-20 year old music. The best hard rock (the ballsiest) always stayed close to the Blues roots like this.

  • @PicnicHikeMusic that's where rock n roll music came from with their influence from bles music. From the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Yardbirds, Deep Purple and the list goes on. It's been documented and said from the artist themselves. Yes, 80's hair band was fun and over the top but the real deal lies deep in the delta where songs of sorrow, hardship and exstacy are all intertwined.

  • one of my all time favorite DP songs, Oiesoudou do you no the name of the woman who introduces them?

  • @mrspeed7v It's Uschi Nerke, host of the "Beatclub" from 1965 to 1972.

  • The essence of hard rock......talent, intensity, virtuosity and BALLS! Guitar rock at its finest...that riff/hook is one of the best.

  • 0 dislikes, as it should be!

  • I'm a huge fan of Zeppelin, in fact they are my favourite band of all time... but fuck me Paice has to be Bonham's equal as well as Page - Blackmore. Gillain deifnitely has the edge on Plant though. That's Zep's only flaw, Plant (apart from 69 - 73) was the weak link, Gillain never lost his touch.

  • Someone mention the drummer please.

  • @talkinglens Ian paice

  • @talkinglens the drummer was Ian Paice- one of the all time greats - there's a video of him doing a one-handed press roll faster than most can do it with two !!

  • please no no no HD

  • Nice to see this up again. One of the group's best and most underrated tracks. Blackmore shines.

The gal at the start of the vid wasn't bad.

  • @ManilaSyndicate One of my favorites too, the girl I mean. Yes I like the song too.

  • Заебательски!

  • Blackmore is one of the best guitarplayers I have heard. Mark II was the best DP-band

  • BLACKMORE, the most gentleman bluesy virtouso guitar ever!!!

  • BLACKMORE, the most gentlemean bluesy virtouso guitar ever!!!

  • Právě čtu knihu o historii Deep Purple (původně Episode Six) a v ní jsem našel odkaz na německý pořad Beat Club, za což autorovi a serveru Youtube moc děkuji... Zaňáček.

  • Blackmore really can play guitar when he is in the mood.

  • Ritchie's trills are so fuckin tasty!

  • The instrumental for this song is incredible, but the lyrics is timeless: Really hate the running really hate the game Looking at them all I wanna be unborn again Their suit is getting tighter although they're getting thin The flies are crawling on their face and trying to get in People say that we're to blame I say No no no it's just the game Must we let them fool us no no no Have we got our freedom no no no Is it getting better no no no .... Do we love each other no no no
  • I wish there was a show like The Beat Club/Musikladen nowadays. Just a band rocking out with awesome, psychedelic images in the background. It would make musical performances more meaningful again cuz I discovered a lot of bands from The Beat Club shows growing up.

  • @1zappa

The "Word" (Terry Christian Amanda de Cadenet- presenters) done that in the Early 90s with bands like Deelite, Blur, Primal Scream....and Sub Sub earl incarnation of the Doves

  • man check out the run at 5.39 holy smoke that is good shit- blackmore is fantastic

  • An intricate composition merging into perfect on-time fusion, the way only Deep Purple can manage, or rather create. Blackmore's tempo is superb - but then, all his riffs stand out - he's the instrumental locomotion of the whole band.

  • 0:26 to 0:29 Blackmores scary when he goes form frowning to smiling..

  • Witchy Blackmore...huh?...well bummer that just ended with a chop

  • is it just me or does Blackmore look like a pilgrim with that hat?

  • Blackmore's guitar is so muscular here it almost sounds like a les paul rather than a strat

  • Anyone know what month this was in?

  • Was Ritchie Blackmore into the whole witches and warlocks thing?

  • Deep Purple Clasic Hard rock no1.

  • Man I love this stuff! I was a teenager living in Germany when the IN ROCK album came out--it was mind blowing for it's time. It was VERY POPULAR there. I was infatuated with DP and wanted to be just like Ritchie! I wanted a Sunburst Fender Strat SO bad! His tone just kills on this and the Machine Head LP. Those were the days my friend!

  • you know blackmore has custom strings, that's why when you hear blackmore playing you know its blackmore

  • I love that shit he does with his guitar

  • RITCHIE BLACKMORE RULES

  • Wow, you tend to forget how raw and edgy a band like this was back in their day.

    Very cool to see this.

  • Another superb riff from Ritch!

  • that german girl ain't bad neither ;) BUT SHE'S GOT NOTHING ON D.P.!!

  • What the Beatles tour to the Guru in India did to rock n roll is the reason for all this here! They came back and like a lightning bolt -------------Everything was Cool Man!

  • Boy I thought this band was so cool when I was 18 and just graduated and starting college. Oh boy that was an eye opener COLLEGE I just loved that HAIR!

  • this is AMAZING

  • What a fucking great band they were in those days! Gillan's vocals were so hot.

  • A good example of Rock sticking close to its Blues roots! This song absolutely rocks!

  • I play bass and wish I could find a cool, tight drummer like Paicy ;]

  • is this a dvd ? what's his name ?

  • "Do you like Ritchies hat ? No No No"

  • @rcm6006

I hate to say it, but I'd wear one!

  • @rcm6006 but his costume is not bad lol :D

  • clasica-она и африке классика...

  • Gillan seems drunk as usual at that times - and as usual brings his performance.

Beat Club was the best live Rock in the studio broadcast in Europe as was the Rockpalast concerts. We Germans sometimes are not so dumb.

  • I"m a great Richie fan.. Arn"t we all ?? 5 contributing to the best rock band of ALL time.... bar non !!

  • Love the pinkie thing @ 0:19

  • Richie Blackmore's a god. Playing that heavy riff to transitioning to that clean bluesy lick. Oh my god. that blew my brains out.

  • Супер!!!!!!!!!

  • I want Ritchie Blackmore's Fender Stratocaster, and his Marshall Major stacks!

  • @Stratman78 Yes, yes, yes to that! XD

  • I want Ritchie Blackmore's hat!

  • @Stratman78

Well I want to have the Ritchie Blackmore Signature Guitar :P

But it costs to much money for me at the moment..

  • @Stratman78 I feel you on that one, the exact Stratocaster he's playing on this video, its either a late 70 or early 71 model. And at least 2 of his Major stacks!!

  • Deep Purple, yes yes yes.

  • Have we got our Freda? No No No

  • @piedpiperpianos "Freedom"

  • Oh who was the lady at the start?? Foxy

  • Uschi Nerke, she hosted "Beat Club" 1965-1972, and then the successor "Musikladen"....

  • did you see the bombs? no~NO~no~

  • They really enjoy playing here! Great video!

  • Hot german girl at the beggining, today she must be a MILF

  • You mean a GILF? This is nearly 40 years ago!

  • By the way this was in the DDR>????????

  • @kondurperusix I don't think so, the Beat Club was made by Radio Bremen, pretty sure Bremen was in the GDR.

  • Ok,but deep purple played in the eastern bloc too, mark III played in yugoslavia

  • Actually not.

  • Anyway she is a hot slut

  • Yeah, possibly a GGILF, lol !!

  • Or probably a NILF. She's probably dead.

  • Uschi Nerke was born 1944 and she`s alive. Check out.

  • Unless she did some pr0nz in the 70's, do not want.

  • TODAY SHE MUST BE LIKE 65

  • HOLY SHIT BLACKMORE IS SMILING

  • @clivestrickland He wasn't that stuck up :/

  • @clivestrickland In my opinion, if anything, he's (Ritchie) probably ashamed or embaressed that they're NOT playing TRUE Deep Purple music. After all, Ritchie DID say or admit that Fireball was "a bit of a disaster."

  • @AngelofAnguish Fireball is my fav DP album :D

  • i've never seen Blackmore smiling

    'til now

  • @clivestrickland No only here. In the video for Perfect Strangers, Blackmore looks really happy. In the 70's and 80's, Ritchie was very cool, but in the 90's he flip out. Too bad.

  • @clivestrickland Maybe he was just passing gas..?? LOL... Wait - I saw him smile once while playing Lucille... hahaha...

  • @clivestrickland He would do that when he was drunk.. lol

  • @clivestrickland now in blackmore's night he always smiles :D

  • @AttoKilmister92

Well, look what is in front of in Blackmore's Night! I would smile too.

  • Comment removed

  • @clivestrickland finalmenteeeeeeeeee!!! ahahhahha...:-)))

  • This song sounds so cool. Love it.

  • BLACKMORE BLOWS...GILLAN IS GOD

  • god that kraut chick was tasty

  • wow this is good stuff

  • Holy crap..

  • I love how Ritchie is metal, but still bluesy and rock.

  • Ritchies tone on this is AMAZING

  • It certainly is. Great guitar.

  • @harveydents feels like there's a huge load of compression

  • BLACKMORE IS GOD!
