I have experienced the heightened sensations brought on by the power of two joined in a ritualistic chant, a chant that comes from deep within, animal in nature. I respect that kids like to paint their faces jsut for fun, but personally I find that that cheapens the entire face painting experience.

It is said that because pagans were repressed so much by male dominated religions that Wiccans worship the Goddess in favor to make up for so much of it if that makes sense. Paganism is not the slightest bit evil. It's a very beautiful belief, and within these "cults" as you Christians call it, everyone is one with each other. It's actually a really peaceful religion, much like Christianity is. If it's peaceful, how can it be evil? We even avoid conflict within our practices. In My opinion, people are gonna have religions and you can't help that. People need to believe in something. @TheBrewskiBaby Do not sit there telling us that we are not real pagans. Paganism, being an umbrella term, has many diffrent traditions. Just because whatever the hell you said you believed in sacrafices bulls and uses women as "sacred prostitues" makes you no better than the rest of us.
Pagan has different meanings to many different people. It is mostly used to describe people who follow religions that are considered unorthodox and polytheistic. Some pagans do sacrifice animals, but this branch of paganism is called Wicca. They don't sacrifice living things because it is against there belief, they consider all life holy.
I would really like to know why all these Christians (and other people who disagree with or dislike paganism) look up pagan videos?! It's like they have nothing better to do in life than spread hatred and intolerance about the beliefs of others....Which, after all, is NOT what Jesus taught! Leave us alone. We pagans do not wish to be converted, nor will we. So stop trying, please.

It's not that Christianity is a vile religion. It's many of its followers who claim to be doing good in the name of their god, when all they are doing is judging. My best friend of 11 years is a Christian, but she is the most accepting person I know. She even practiced the Craft with me several times. But I also know many Christians who would condemn her to Hell for accepting me as a Witch.

Not being with God should scare you. I dont think I have to make a case for Jesus do I. He casts out demons, made the blind see over 40 different examples in the New and around 48 in the old Bible. Check it out. Put your faith in something real. I know its hard to admit that we will have to account to someone for the life we live. But for this stuff I would rather pray to a rock.

@Joeyal123 Never had this happen to me. How long has the group been Pagan? What are their age range? I only ask because maybe it's more of a clique than a theological group. I remember being new to Paganism and thinkin I knew what is/isn't Paganism. Think about it, even Christians don't consider Catholicism as a Christian denomination but it is. This particular Pagan may have this "Us vs Them" elitist mentality. No worries. Every school of thought has their bad apples.

Heres a question; why is it that after a very troubled past do Pagans get on these sites and yell, scream at eachother and cut eachother down? Instead of being friends, other Pagans are quick to point out others faults (or thought to be faults) and criticize them for it. Its bad enough to have the christians yelling; now the Pagans are yelling at eachother as well. Tell me why. I'm JUST asking.

I got the feeling she was a bit self-conscious in front of the camera. She seemed to feel it more when her eyes were closed.
She does have a nice voice though. Too bad about the quality of the audio though, it didn't do her much justice.

Pagan has different meanings to many different people. It is mostly used to describe people who follow religions that are considered unorthodox and polytheistic. Some pagans do sacrifice animals, but this branch of paganism is called Wicca. They don't sacrifice living things because it is against there belief, they consider all life holy.

I would really like to know why all these Christians (and other people who disagree with or dislike paganism) look up pagan videos?! It's like they have nothing better to do in life than spread hatred and intolerance about the beliefs of others....Which, after all, is NOT what Jesus taught! Leave us alone. We pagans do not wish to be converted, nor will we. So stop trying, please.

It's not that Christianity is a vile religion. It's many of its followers who claim to be doing good in the name of their god, when all they are doing is judging. My best friend of 11 years is a Christian, but she is the most accepting person I know. She even practiced the Craft with me several times. But I also know many Christians who would condemn her to Hell for accepting me as a Witch.

Not being with God should scare you. I dont think I have to make a case for Jesus do I. He casts out demons, made the blind see over 40 different examples in the New and around 48 in the old Bible. Check it out. Put your faith in something real. I know its hard to admit that we will have to account to someone for the life we live. But for this stuff I would rather pray to a rock.

Don't ruin it for the rest of us, you're going to eventually have to face the fact that not everyone is like you, and your religion is not the only one out there. You don't see any Pagans dissing your religious videos anywhere, do you? My best friend is a hardcore Christian, but she stills respects other people's beliefs. Leave the peaceful religions to their peace.

so tell me something Fellow Pagans i was just told by another Pagan that im to stupid to be a Pagan because i one of my purposes of going to a Pagan Gathering was to meet new people and she said i would be insulting the Pagans thats there and i would be blackballed from the group and she said i would not get along with them if they are a Different Pantheon. @Joeyal123 Never had this happen to me. How long has the group been Pagan? What are their age range? I only ask because maybe it's more of a clique than a theological group. I remember being new to Paganism and thinkin I knew what is/isn't Paganism. Think about it, even Christians don't consider Catholicism as a Christian denomination but it is. This particular Pagan may have this "Us vs Them" elitist mentality. No worries. Every school of thought has their bad apples.

I'd like to think that because Catholicism was banned in the US until late last half century that maybe they don't have a "holier than thou" attitudes; granted Catholics due have that streak. Protestants do get on my nerves too; actually any zealot of any school of thought irks me for that matter.

People ask me about witchcraft. Simple advice- dont do it. it doesnt only ruin your own life inviting dark forces causing bad affect such as depression, suicide, physical disorders later on, but your future generations as well. one should NEVER mess with one's free will. once you release bad intention onto someone as a spell, same force comes back three times stronger to the original sender. @punkprincesskj: I know, chicago is huge but i havent found a single wiccan my age. I coverted from islam to wicca, and most of my family doesnt know. My parents tell me to keep it to myself. They support it but at the same time they think its a new fad or something. My mom finds it intresting but i think she doubts magic. But she lets me do the rituals and offers to participate. I hope you find someone there, if not me and you can always talk (:

Agreed. I was pointing a finger, yes, but also at others. Some people are extremely intelligent when it comes to world history, politics and religion. You seem to be such a person. All im asking is, why don't others help by giving references, proper citations and scholarly sorces. My girlfriend is Polish, Cherokee and Scottish so her methods are a bit crazy. She could use the guidence. If people are doing things the wrong way; Great, help. But im not seeing that on these sites. Why?

Heres a question; why is it that after a very troubled past do Pagans get on these sites and yell, scream at eachother and cut eachother down? Instead of being friends, other Pagans are quick to point out others faults (or thought to be faults) and criticize them for it. Its bad enough to have the christians yelling; now the Pagans are yelling at eachother as well. Tell me why. I'm JUST asking.

People are waking up to a rebirth of very old ways. Some can't believe how fast Paganism is growing. But its always been here. Even in HollyWood; Harry Potter, Starwars, Lord of the rings blah blah ect. People even enjoy these fantasy movies and buy them as gifts. Pagan holidays such as easter and Christmas are celebrated by millions yet those same people scream and yell at Pagans, calling them evil and satanist. I just don't get it. I think its stupid when people sterotype a witch by using him/her and merging them with always wearing black and cackling. Well half of this is true, witches wear black because its not evil, it is a color that is said to repelle negativity. And the cackling, think about it, the pre christian times, pagans, witches etc celebrating the solstice by burning a giant fire and singing, dancing and feasting.

but what if you chose the path that seems wrong and it is wrong.....theres no winning with the bible the wrong can be right and the right can be wrong. most christians dont love god, they are afraid of him and it is that fear that binds them to him.We do not fear death because we know we will be returned to the earth from once we came.
