this is nothing like the CVS/Pharmacy i work for...fact of the matter is that there are LOTS of asshole pharmacists out there no matter what pharmacy they're working for...many people become pharmacists just for the pay and could give a rats ass about their patients and co-workers. i've worked for both CVS and Walgreens and have worked for my fair share of terrible pharmacists at both places...not saying this video is false...just saying you could make this case for other pharmacies as well
LMAO. The CVS hold music does suck. When I used to call in to find out my schedule I would be put on hold for 5 minutes and have to listen to that shit. It drove me nuts.
LOL!! This is so true. I had to call CVS 1000 times for copies when WAG got the Caterpillar contract. We took so many copies that they started laying off their techs...
*laughs!* Funny shit!! I used to get the same deal from a local independent place. Getting copies was a nightmare and they would have us on hold for 15 minutes. I work overnight now. No more copies, doctor calls, far fewer customers, work at your own pace, and a week off at a time! Its heaven :)
And you are right about CVS. They showed up at my college's "placement day" a few years ago in full force. They hired at least 10% of my class right on the spot with huge sign-on bonuses, crazy 401K matching rates, etc. Every single one of them that I've talked to HATE their jobs. Some of them quit within 6 months, even though it meant having to pay back 100% of the sign on bonus (which they didn't even receive 100% of, since taxes took out a huge chunk).
Retail pharmacy is hell, no doubt about it, but nothing pisses me off more than when a fellow pharmacist decides to make my day suck by being an asshole for no apparent reason. We need to stick together in this business if we are going to retain our sanity!
