Actually, Graco is the only manufacturer in the United States to have a car seat that rear faces to 40 pounds! And all five point harnesses have side impact protection. Don't knock it because it's cheap!
@AbbieandJacksMommy: It's true now that many brands, including Britax, Sunshine Kids, Evenflo, and Safety 1st/Dorel now have seats that rear-facing until 40-45 pounds. However, at the time when I wrote this comment, the My Ride was the only one. :)

graco is one of the worst brands.
-they only rear face to 20 pounds
-they boost as low as 40,65 pounds
- no side impact protection
children should be rear facing to atleast 33 pounds and forward facing to 53 inches and or 80 pounds.
graco does not provide these accomadatios

Sorry but you are wrong. Britax also has carseats that rear face til 40lbs. Then Sunshine kids have carseats that rear face til 45lbs
