I live on the Big Island and pass the base all the time to hike on Saddle Road. It was great to get a glimpse at what goes on there. Mahalo.

BLUE DEATH! B Troop as a scout with SGT. Acuna ('76). Flew in Hueys all over the place including Maui. A Troop as a tank crewman with them old Sheridans. Nickname "Parnelli Jones". Also as a unit trainer with SGT. Brown--coolest dude to work with. "Prepared and Loyal"!
