@starpilot1241 It's all explained in the Empirean Age novel. It's pretty good BTW ! Basicaly it's all about and infamous criminal called the broker. The kinda guy you don't want to fuck with as he has eyes and ears everywhere, and more than enough cash to ploy Empires to his bidding. As Woodwyrm explained, The Broker suffers from the same virus as the minmatar, a creation of the Amarr empire to keep them in slavery.

Gariuchi was CEO of Ishukone, one of the few "human" corp in caldari state.

@starpilot1241 So basicaly in the whole book the broker is pulling the strings for force Gariuchi into selling him the formula of the cure, because the broker can selfreplicate himself at will using clones, but his "master DNA" is corrupted by the illness. So he is rather desperate to find a cure for himself.

Gariuchi wanted to free the minmatars from the Amarr by making the formula "public", something the broker didn't want. He killed Alexander Noir and took his place during this place...

@starpilot1241 Alexander Noir, war hero and fierce defender of peace since then was highly respected. Gallente Federation President expected he could bring spirits to an ease to prevent a new war betwenn caldari and gallenteans.

Broker decided otherwise, killed Alexander Noir, took his appearance using nanotechnology surgery and crashed the Nyx super carrier into Ishukone main station, killing thousands, including Gariuchi who's medical clone was abord the station.

Very good book, seriously ;)

@RonPaulRepublic was an intergalactic criminal who wanted the cure for Vitoc for himself(he probably wanted to blackmail the republic into paying exorbitant sums for it), when Otro Gariuchi refused to give him the cure he retaliated by flying the Gallente Mothership into the station and kill mr. Gariuchi, more or less sparked a renewal of the hostilities between the State and the Federation as Tibus Heth realized what he could do with this catastrophe^^

hey ppl is here someone who plays eve from the beginning because I would like to ask a few things about it ,especially how do all the books ,videos/patches and characters go together -Imean I have the book EVE the empyrean age so I know about Tibus but how does it go with the game ??? Is he mentioned in a quest and do the quests allways after an update change or WT ??? Im really lost in the game... but love it the most :)

There are no quests.

There are missions that generally have nothing to do with the EVE backstory, but there are no quests.

@Sucreithe0 Missions do get added after updates that carry on with player activity most recent example the new Gallente SL missions that are supposed to represent the caldari militlias past victories. The back story tho I agree with muffin that the missions dont show it enough.

@woodwyrm Indeed. I have a whole new appreciation for these trailers after having read the book. I am VERY picky with sci-fi novels, and Empyrean Age ranks right up there with Ender's Game in my opinion.
