  • 0:43 u see altair on the guy's glass

  • Altiar lived till a old age so did ezio shame desmond died when he was 2 and u are seeing fake memories by the templars

  • there is a reason why Altiar lived to be a 92 year old grandmaster.

  • the first time i saw this, i had a miniature orgasm

  • @assassindenmark maybe ww3 begin

  • @beepboopbopers its the symbol of the assassin

  • what is with this bird...hawk?

  • he lost the feather oooooohhhh he is so fired lol

  • "Pure madness..."

  • @exo099

You forget, that an old enemy of the Templars also still exist. Masuyaf and Alamut may have fallen but there still are people in those areas. The Muslims are gathering followers faster than any religion on earth. If the Templars rise's and wants to seek power, the will find some.... "bumbs on the road". But still the Muslims are scatherd and are not unified. So the posibility will be small. But still. WHAT are the changes that the Templars will take over the world!? It's pure MADNESS!

  • 0:54 Man, the Robert the Sable voice is kinda.... anoying.C'mon man, what a HELL of accent is that?

  • this was never in the game right?

  • :48, proof that Hitler was a templar.

  • @Tuckerx78 In the Assassin's Creed 2 glyphs it actually mentions that Hitler was a Templar

  • Ha, these aren't Templars, they're Teutonic Knights.

  • @ConnivingEagle It is probably a gathering of many different orders, Teutonic knights, templars and hospitallers I gather that the majority in the room are teutonics due to their accent, I am most likely wrong as my knowledge of history doesn't include the Teutonics a great deal, but perhaps, and perhaps not

  • may the father of understanding guide us

  • Oh my God guys! Is it so hard to notice Altair on this cup? I noticed it when I first saw this!

  • Why are tehy dressed as hospitalliers in tihs, and use the teutonic cross as a symbol in brotherhood?TO hide when the pope expeled thom from europe?

  • is this the next game of the assassins creed?

  • can't believe I haven't seen this before..... :\

  • 0:43 you can see Altair's reflection in the cup he's holding

  • @FullRamenAlch3mist

    oh snap!

  • @FullRamenAlch3mist I thought I was the only crazy person who had notice that... XD

    love it!

  • keep pressing 8

  • He's going to have to go back and get that feather or he won't get paid Altair was a bit clumsy before the game came out

  • Unfortunately, these are not Templars, they're Hospitaliers; try doing a little research before you title a trailer.

  • @hawkeye93ify1 Actually if you played the game those are the templars alright, the hospitaliers were only a secondary force in the game under the templars, and as altair you kill their leader

  • not sure why i care but, i was the first person to notice the cup when this video was put up 3-4 years ago hahaha

  • @chachaboingxxx well you watched it before me so i guess so, saw it and just read the comments.

  • 0:48 the cup.

  • You see him in the guys cup's reflection at 0:41

  • @jrud57 Good eye dude

  • Hitler was a templar and he didn't killed himself.

    He got assassinated xD

  • 0:17 ....can anyone please tell me how that counter is done? I have a PS3, I did almost every possible move in the game except this one

  • @AimingFist You have to counter it using the hidden blade

  • @cheesefiretruckguy

lol, ya know what, I successfully did it by accident when I wanted to stealth assassinate a templar and because I got caught by the other soldiers. One of the soldiers attacked me b4 I could change to my sword and instant reflexed the counter combination with my still equipped stealth blade. Pure awesomeness. Thank you anyways

  • why do you not join us brother?

    cause my back hurts

    is it beacause your old?

    *everyone laughs*

*old man stands up and dies*

altair: haha i love this job xD

  • Comment removed

  • its weird how the templars are dressed like assassins

  • im slow

i juz now saw when the candle moves and when u see altair creeping on the reflection from the templars cup haha

  • "Why do you not join us, brother?"

    "Because i just farted"

  • @maxie15o9 lol

  • The Templar's we're only arrogant possibly conceited they did nothing wrong. The motto 'our master is hope'. Before them were the Hospitallers, THEY were the ons who guarded and cared for pilgrims, where do you hospital and hospitality come from. You put all your money in a pot, you become poor, humble, a knight of God. but with that comes a lust for other things.

  • "Why Don't You Join Us?"

"'Cause There's a Fuckin' Knife On My Fuckin' Back..."

  • are these guys the assassination targets?????? they are 10 at the beginning and one of them dies so they are 9...

  • lol newfags cant triforce...

  • I find it strange how Hollywood and videogames can get this sort stuff wrong. Here, they are supposed to be of the Knights Templar order and yet they wear black robes with a white cross - the symbol of the Knights Hospitaller... and in Kingdom of heaven the 'Templars' sent to kill Balian were wearing the colours of the Teutonic order.

  • @AquilaRomana8 first of all, this game isn't supposed to be historicaly accurate, and second, the templars are recorded to have had a variety of flags, so this would be plausible

  • @swissguy123 Not if it is the arms of another brotherhood. They couldn't use the black mantle with a white cross because it was already in use with the Knights of St John.

  • What is the name of the music that plays when they all stand up and hold their swords down on the table?

  • note: 0:36 you can see the candle flicker when he enters and you can see him in the glass at 0:43

  • @Superbloody888

    Nice eyesight

  • @StupidDOGgameplay I used eagle vision

  • @Superbloody888 good eye

  • @andyscotger I used eagle vision

  • cheers i find it

  • "Why do you not join us, brother?"

"Oh you know...CAUSE I GOT A FUCKING KNIFE IN MY BACK DAMN IT! WHO THE FUCK DID WE PUT IN CHARGE TO GUARD THE FRONT DOOR!?"

    *Guy walks in*

"Uhh sir the guard at the front door is dead..."

    "God dammit..."

    *Falls on table dead.*

  • it's too bad you can't play as a Templar,

    (raises sword)

  • lol the leader had bunny teeth

  • is this "in" the bell tower before the official trailer?

  • just a taste.

  • I don't think you can notice, but from 0:42 to 0:44, if you look at the guy's cup, you can see the assassin's reflection run by. ;D

  • @TheRIXking yes i see it

  • @TheRIXking Check out 0:36 you can see the candle flicker when he enters the room.

  • templars creed

  • @Filnizer in assassins creed the assassins dont have a religion and templars pretended to be christian but were atheist but idk

  • 0:47 ...NEIN NEIN NEIN there is a angry german templar

  • @watzman123321123321 lolololololololololol zee germanz

  • @watzman123321123321 OMG!!!!! HILTER IS A TEMPLAR!!!! 0:47

  • BADASS WOW I have never sceen this trailer before I'm late LOL

  • at 1:30 you can tell that the guy has altairs sword

  • In the video, those are Hospitallers not Templars.

  • all of you templar bashers here go and read some history about the crusades. I mean assassins creed was fun to play but it wasn't at all historically accurate, presenting the templars as power hungry evil men. They weren't evil actually, they fought for good and protected the kingdom and its pilgrims.

  • @dimo2005 everything you say is true, exept for the part about fighting for good, the templars did protect the pilgrims etc... great, exept I don't think murdering innocent muslims is "good"

  • @Filnizer yes yes Altair was a Muslim

Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad (الطائر ابن لا أحد in Arabic) (born 1165) was an Assassin during the time of the Third Crusade......

  • Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad (الطائر ابن لا أحد in Arabic) (born 1165) was an Assassin during the time of the Third Crusade and later Grand Master of the Assassin’s Order

  • I love how that guy dies in the end, perfectly timed with the church bell.

  • Phfor Teh Wihn

  • DOWN WITH THE TEMPLARS!!!

  • @skorchcommander LONG LIVE THE TEMPLARS!

  • @cohanfilms The assassins shall kill you and all other templar scum! prepare to die...

  • @cohanfilms Vive les Templiers!

  • ....If you look closely to the bottle at 0:39 you will see Altair's reflection!

  • @Filnizer

Altair is an atheist, and those templars despicted on the video too

  • @cidiose Actually, Assassins were a sub-sect of the Shi'ite sect of Islam..

  • why those templars have crosses of the hospitalllers?

  • @make940 No one cross (shape or size) defined a christian militant order the importance was more on colour (on the coat of arms) the cross merely symbolizes that they have been ordained by god through the pope to carry out a holy war or holy purpose.

  • wow, they call altair " the angel of death" and when that templar died, a fallen feather of a white bird falls and had blood, all over it.

  • What a desperate attempt to get villains, the ultimate good guys of history to present day being the ultimate evil what a joke.

  • @StateQuoable king richard was an asshole

  • @zamrok73 he was an arrogant bastard but not an arsehole, he was a great king and an unparalleled leader, his mere presence sent the saracen horde into flight.

  • @1988theLAW Except when he lost, Sure the war ended in a truce, but dont act like the crusader army was all powerful they were losing more battles then they won til arce.

  • @StateQuoable If it is such a joke then why was it so successful? And it's back-story is consisting of numerous conspiracy theories, so instead of using the free masons as the main villains they basically replaced them with the Templars. And the way the game depicts all this actually makes it seem believable.

  • @StateQuoable no they weren't heros they worshipped evil and stole teasure from people and from sacred places which is why assissins hunted them

  • shut the fuck up... religion is bullshit

  • I am a Catholic and I know the actions of the King of France as well as the Pope of that time were wrong. Some of the Templars went astray, but to punish them all was terrible. My patron saint is Bernard of Clairvaux (actually it is pronounced burn urd not ber naard). He was the one who inspired men to join the Crusades. The Templars as a whole did nothing wrong. The Church did not betray them the Pope did.

  • @DeltaBravo1216 same here i think the crusades were wrong too, i am catholic but i hate it when ppl force you to believe that they were "good" because the crusaders are catholic

  • @DeltaBravo1216 The Pope supported them it was the King who did it, and it wasnt becouse some of them went astray it was becouse they owed the Templars alot of money and did not want to pay there debts.

  • @DeltaBravo1216 not a Pope a False Pope according to History he wasn't invested in the Vatican ''Clement V the coward'' was invested in france according to many sources he was a puppet of the King of france during the ''Avignon Papacy''. the Popes where able to come back to the Vatican many years later. and the popes invested by French kings came to be Known as False popes or Avignon Papacy.

  • @Chokula99 so even before the last two avignon popes that where called by Catholic historians as the ''antipopes'' the one guy who not only betrayed the Templar but also the entire Vatican was Clement V starting what was called ''the Babilonian Captivity'' of the Papasy to become a puppet of the King of Philip the Fair.

  • @Chokula99 sorry misspelled: (the king of france Philip the Fair.)

  • @Chokula99 I applaud you you on your grasp of Church history. + 1 Internets for you my friend.

  • Both European Knights, and Japanese Samurai, required the swinging of a wooden sword 10,000 times a day, until use of a sword became second nature.

In modern terms, that is spending the equivalent of 3 hours in the shooting range, just mastering one weapon, for 10 years.

Like I said; modern armies are a joke.

A sad joke that kills many men. Lives would be saved, if the training were more mastery based, rather than knowledge acquisition based.

  • @stardingo747 well, modern military is hard...they dump you in the colorado mouatains with nothing but clothes. nothing, its either u die or you dont. and the reason why there on the ground and seen all the time is because thatsthere duty :P

  • dude, only spec ops has you do that, and you wanna know the origin of that training? The U.S. military, specially the library at West Point, kept meticulous reccords of all peoples the U.S. army fought against, and, excluding civilian massacres, that is, strictly man vs man fighting, the people who killed the most U.S. army soldiers where not Europeans, they were not Asian, or Mexican, or Arabs, they were Native American.

  • If you look at overall numbers, and include the women and children U.S. soldiers killed yes its true, for every U.S. soldier killed, I think the ratio is 40 native americans per U.S. soldier, and the racist history books of high school just absolutely love bloating white people's ego. However you look deeper into those numbers, if you have only men vs men, none of that cowardly slaughtering women and children bullshit, for every native american killed, the U.S. army lost nearly 100 soldiers.

  • how the hell are those numbers even possible?

    1) the unreliability of muskets; guns were not reliable until the 1870's, they could shoot straighter, and more accurately, in fact that is when the "Indian Wars" started going bad for the natives.

    2) Natives fought on horseback a lot, and artillery is pretty much useless against charging cavalry. Hey, those cannons take a while to load.

    3) They had very good aim; both with bows and arrows, and throwing axes.

  • the final advantages the natives had, was a combination of both genetics, as well as environment. Athletically, north american native americans were the strongest and most athletic people in the world, no one was on top of them, when it came to strength, and physical coordination, its part of the reason they were hunted so ruthlessly white people were terrified of them.

  • my own people, full blooded Hebrews?

we're just strong physically, however we suck when it comes to coordination, and it takes a shitload of work to GET US coordinated.

I'm talking strength that counts here; pound for pound strength, not absolute strength. Pound for pound, the Hebrew people have always been much stronger than other semites, its part of the reason that despite low numbers, we were able to hold on to ancient Israel as long as we did.

  • Whenever the Arabs harassed Iraqi Jews in Iraq, it was always 5 against one, sometimes 10 against one, for all their talk about how weak we are, how feeble, stupid, and idiotic we are, the Arabs never assaulted us on their own, cowardly bastards always traveled in packs. We may look like Arabs, but the fuckheads are not stronger than us.

  • However, again, my people are just strong; that's all we have and even then its nothing special. "Strong" and "superhuman" are two different things, and with enough hard work anyone can develop pound for pound strength; the only people on this planet, who were a "complete package" were the native americans. As strong as the Hebrews, as athletic as the most athletic black dude, and, everyone's intelligence is roughly the same we are all human.

  • between their genes that gave them a gift for all things physical it seemed, and living in the wilderness, they were formidable fighters.

part of the reason U.S. spec ops are such dangerous soldiers, is because the final phase of all spec ops training is ALWAYS the wilderness. That is, the U.S. military combines both modern day calisthenics and nutrition, and mental training, with "living like a native american."

  • between the formal training in modern weaponry, and living in the wilderness native american style, you have soldiers, fighters really, with the knowledge of modern weapons but the instincts of wild animals.

However even those men, do not hold a candle to either native americans, or even European Knights, who lived in 'civilization' but, it was crappy, borderline wilderness "civilization," and life was brutal.

In the end though sorry but that is not correct; that is only spec ops.

  • Army, Marine, Navy and Air Force regulars don't train that way.

  • Who the hell has the time to train 12 hours a day and do 10,000 repetitions of everything every day for 10 years.

modern militaries are such a joke compared to old warrior orders.

  • go Altair.

  • The Templars were betrayed by the Catholic Church; escaping to Switzerland, made perfect tactical sense. Geographically, Switzerland can withstand the assault of virtually any army, additionally, being betrayed by the Vatican, the Templars would have had the whole of Europe after them, the only place to escape, was Switzerland. Additionally, Swiss pikemen were known for their skills. Who taught them how to use a spear? Obviously, men with the skills of a Knight.

  • The Templars were known bankers, and, from a strategic point of view, from a military perspective, Switzerland is an ideal country to have a banking operation. A Knight, would have seen Switzerland with the eyes of a soldier, a strategist.

Virtually all Swiss descend from Knights or, at the very least, the most prominent Swiss families.

  • I think Switzerland is where the Templars took refuge, and, the reason every Swiss male serves in the army, is because they all descend from Knights, its a family tradition in the country. Also, the reason they speak several languages in Switzerland, is because the Templars came from all over Europe, they were an order not restricted to any one country.

  • When do you see Altair again in the video? (after the reflection in the goblet)

  • This trailer is awesome, did you also noticed that the goblet´s guy and ezio from the AC2 share the same voice hehe

  • @cidiose I'd rather say he sounds a bit like Niko Bellic from GTA 4...anyway, nice trailer!

  • did you guys see altair at 0:42 on the glass

  • @lordofthenachos holy shit thats awsome i didnt see that

  • wtf are these whores templars not christian since they worship marry

  • All these people are Hospitallers, not Templars.

  • dumb ass hospitaleirs are doctors templars have the treasure huh

  • Yet those are are Hospitallers in the trailer; note the white on black cross when the Templars have a red on white cross. and that's the cross of Amalfi, the Hospitaller's cross.

  • is this from Assassin's Creed 1?

    I can't remember I've seen this scene

when did you get it ?

  • this are is the Order of Saint John

  • These are definetly Hospitallers. White crosses on black coats - Hospitallers.

  • the templars may be good in your eyes but with the attrocities they and their masters now formerly known as the free masons committed i can only agree with this point of view, and the shadow court is real...

  • yes templar were good, you should really do history on the crusades

  • @MrAMERICANfrenchy

Both armies used god to hire and soldiers, but their main goal was mostly economic, I mean, jerusalem was a rich city and an important trade point

  • Sad how so many died believing they were doing God's will when in actuality, they were doing Government's will.

  • @CainTheMain

Yes, I am sure that a lot saracens and christians soldiers actually fought out of their conviction and believings on " each" God, shame on those greedy kings an Priets

  • @MrAMERICANfrenchy its all politic depends what u think, i think they were bad, let people decide

  • WTF the Templar were the good guys and yet you kill em here. Fucking heretics

  • haha they look like hospitallers great game though =]

  • Templar's and Hospitallers, were kinda, not allies, but they were out for same things, but in the end Templar's were gone before Hospitallers, don't remember how it was exactly, you should check history though

  • Holy crap Altair rocks..

  • meh

  • I like how they use token German words (Nein! Nein!) but they speak with terrible French accents.

  • lol @ the reflection at 0:43

  • this is the shit

thats all i have to say

  • The game was pressed as having ties to serious modern issues. No such thing happened- great game, lame story. It only ties in to today is you are a conspiracy theorist.

  • Best games] ever ;)
