  • you can run a cancorder and tape anyone in public anytime !....right ?!....i hope all is is well for you guys there im NH....god bless and peace

  • Sue Please sue.

  • You ever notice how it's the same old cock suckers bitching about this sort of thing?! All you stupid mother fuckers like Ridley should grow the fuck up and get a real job! Pieces of shit!!!! Take your Porcupine 411 and shove it up your ass, just like me!!! hahahaa

  • They let him walk because they didn't have a leg to stand on. The whole your going to be arested thing is a terror tatic. Thank god for the creation of video. And, You Tube.

  • What the heck is it with these ridley report freaks? They sound like spoiled brats with nothing better to do but cause trouble and try to make the cops look bad.

  • The cops made themselves look bad. This guy was videotaping in his own front yard. And the cops lies on camera, if he did not want to "look bad" he should not have lied.

  • The cops wanted to violate their freedom of speech on their own private property because the property owners wouldn't let them violate their freedom against an unwarranted search. The cops made themselves look bad. These folks just got it on camera.

And yes, we are spoiled brats, especially when it comes to very important Constitutional rights. Read the Constitution (and particularly, the first 10 Amendments contained therein). These rights are VERY important. We can't let them be stepped on.

  • "im ok". sorry to hear that. grow up

  • What is it with all the nuts, yes it's wrong to hurt animals! Now I have a question, does a warrant permit nongov. people(spca, aclu, peta) to search private property?

  • Yes. Police officially search and seize, non-gov't folks can come along as observers and ultimately gain custody of the animals if any are seized.

  • My understanding is the SPCA threatened to get a warrant(overstepping)and when the police got one the SPCA did the search. I also understand the people got the horses because they were abused and were caring for them, the vet involved then reported them for abuse he knew happened previously.

  • This is not difficult at all. This is the result of animals having rights.

  • End Tyranny Tell your friends!!!

Seems to me there's still one place thats free. I love you guys!!!

    Sincerely,

    McCotter for liberty

  • You don't need permission to film public officer is not lying.

  • Cooper, I owe you a beer if you come out to Social Sunday this weekend.

  • "They gave me a stern talking-to."

About WHAT? "Don't ask for search warrants, it's impolite"???

And I have to agree, if it's on your own property, DON'T TURN OFF THE CAMERA!

  • Leave multiple comments to help get the vids that you support on Youtube's Most Discussed lists. That will help to expose these important vids to more people.

  • I am so happy that i found the Ridley Report just now.

  • What a clusterf*ck. I hope Cooper sues the crap out of the SPCA and police!

  • What we really need is a law that states that cops may be videotaped at any time while on duty. After all they are paid with PUBLIC funds and they are supposed to SERVE AND PROTECT THE PUBLIC. All it would take is a law.

  • How about, "Public employees in the performance of their duties may not deny citizens their right to record proceedings."

That kind of drives it home that they are, in fact, being paid by the people they're being nasty to.

  • should of said "By standing here on my property you are giving me consent to videotape. If you do not leave I will continue videotaping. For evidence of your trespassing"

  • Better yet post a sign stating: This is private property. By entering this property, you give consent to be audio and video recorded.

  • Agreed.

  • Perfect retort but its hard to be at your best (sometimes) when cops are in your face.

  • Quit giving the Police your Birth Date... For heaven's sake it's Heresay!!!!!

You have no First Hand knowledge of your Birth Date, as you were too young to remember. Also, your Birth certificate was likely filed up 10 -14 days afterwards.

By giving the Police your Birth Date and Name (that's another issue) you give credibility to your Corporate "PERSON".

If they have No Birth Date, they can't proceed with any charges....

  • If the police disarmed me and handed my weapon to and SPCA person WHO CHAMBERED A ROUND I would be filing a civil suit post haste for intimidation while in police custody.

  • Why do cops think they can video record us during traffic stops but we can't return the favor and record them.

  • all freestaters need to fight this together.

  • We are. Are you on the forums at NHFREE?

  • I am going to go against all of you guys on this one. Any agency that works to protect helpless animals (provided they are not corrupt) should be able to verify their safe and humane treatment within reason. If you think your privacy is being violated imagine the animals that have suffered from unmoral cruel owners such as dog fighting exc. Animals should have rights too..

God Bless their fury hearts!!! =)

  • I am a dog owner. If you have ever seen anyone treat their animal better than I do (pretty pathetic, just being honest) you have found Jesus.

This has nothing to do with the animals. this has to do with property rights, this has to do with extortion, this has to do a whole lot with other things you may have momentarily forgotten about. Also, I'm a vegetarian. This crap outrages me! The power is NOT supposed to be in these peoples hands and they handled it horribly!

  • He has a valid point tho; ""imagine the animals that have suffered from unmoral cruel owners".

This happens too often, that animals - be it dogs, horses, cats - are mistreated in the worst ways you can imagine.

Just look for vids on "animal abuse".

So there is a balance here, and to stop certain people from abusing kids or animals, there must be someone looking into it - at the same time, there must be "peer review" and good reasons for doing a check.

    Difficult area.

  • How difficult is it for people to make a pact that they won't hurt animals? If it's popular to hurt animals (only likely in Michael Vick's circles) then there is a problem... making any "one size fits all" "blanet law" which is enforced by evil thugs, helps nobody. Right?

  • If I disagreed I wouldn't call it a difficult area.. It sort of boils down to who abuses who. Some people have horses, dogs, cats, sheep or other animals and let the starve and/or live in their own shit for months and years, and maybe there is some beatings too. This may even be how they treat their family.

Imagine that some of the ones in the "system" has sort of the same attitude, but now they have a "position" so now YOU are the dog, horse, cat etc. and said person feels "godlike". Bad, yes.

  • I rescued my dog from a slime ball who lives off the state and beat the dog. Iwish I could get his other dog but it's not my role at this point. Sigh... "acceptance".

My nephew is a cop and I think (but hope against it) that he will be one of the bad ones. I think the government (state or tyranical process) needs to but out, unless there is a TRUE HUMAN victim, as awful as it may sound. Make sense?

  • Kenzofeis

Would you say that killing an animal, cutiing its head off, skinning it and eating it qualifys as abuse?

  • Uh didn't they consent on the condition that the property owner must be present?

  • But they are corrupt. The SPCA is not even a government organization. 1) they have to have probable cause or reasonable suspicion to believe that a violation has occurred to get a warrant, 2) the SPCA is not even a gov. organization that I am aware of 3) they violated the landowners' rights to freedom from unreasonable search and seizure. 4) they kidnapped the young man who videotaped them, especially if he wasn't charged.

  • @porterzcustomz

Animals are not people, they are property. If you want animals to have rights they have to provide for themselves and not rely upon another for sustainment and shelter.

You are right they can come on the property with a police officer serving a search warrant, if they do not have a search warrant or other court order granting them access to the property they have no right to be on that property and if they enter the property they are criminals.

  • So... is there a NH law that backs up the abduction of citizens by police? Can a police officer pick up anyone on the street and take them for a long ride (probably while trying to decide what to do with him) and take them somewhere for processing without any charges or arrest? Was this situation considered an arrest?

  • Candia Police Department

    603-483-2317

That is for the duty officer and same number for "animal control" officer.

  • I am outraged. I just called Candia PD. They said they would call me back.

  • Don't hold your breath.

  • Believe it or not I actually got a call back though the "duty officer" still has not returned my call. A guy calling himself "Ray" (I didn't give my last name when I called) who said he was the SPCA officer on duty, says he knows nothing about it. The pic on the forums (of the fat SCPA thug) appears to have a first name of "Steve". T=I did tell him that they picked the wrong people to pick on this time. We'll see if I hear from them again.

  • great job on standing up to them!

  • I would get a lot of people to go to the police station and record them. See what they do. That is what I do. Good luck and godspeed.

  • Good job guys.

What a bunch of crap. F-ing pigs.

  • Cuffed, brought to station, given a 'firm talking to', then released? Wtf is that? A non-arrest? Gawd these cops are getting out of control. Keep us informed.

  • Sounds like they kidnapped him to me. Someone call the FBI, the local corrupt police are kidnapping people.

  • Good job standing up to the thugs!

You don't need consent to audio record on public property or your private property you just need to inform them they are being audio recorded. That's all, if they say to stop that is a request not the law.

  • I think don't quote me but in NH due to the wiretapping law you are supposed to get their consent even on private property.

This is a law that needs to be changed I hope the NH Liberty activists will work on getting it changed.

  • This is just insane. Thanks Ridley for posting.
