Lyrics are pretty off. For example it's not " wish I wasn't a little girl." But instead " wish I WERE a little girl."

Just listen in -.- The song is called pretend. Pretending to be a kid again.

The first couple of lines confirm that. "Once in a while, I act like a child. To feel like a kid again"

She is saying she ISN'T a child anymore, but she wishes she was.

As far as the " who felt the weight of the world" part goes. You are taking it too direct. It could just mean she likes being under everyone else. Consequences are minimal and expectations are not high.

Ugh, whatever you say. The song is called "Pretend." Just by listening to the first couple of lines, it doesn't take a genius to recognize that it's about wanting to wind back the clock to childhood. The rest of the song goes on and on about childhood memories and experiences. Logically, it wouldn't make sense if she said " I wish I wasn't a little girl." Not only that, just listen to the actual song -___- I hear a clear "were."
