Haha, well, my band (well, coverband really xD) always says that I learn songs incredibly fast, but on the other hand, I have no clue how to make a song or a melody of my own.. So yeah, but I'm sure you're not THAT bad, right? =O

Yeah, well, I'm in two bands: one coverband, but we don't really jam anymore... and then the other band is a coverband/original-songs-band, so we do make our own songs and stuff. But yeah, I'm kinda new on how to make rythms and melodies and such so that is something I gotta work on

@PQfile That's really cool! It must be fun to make music in a group like that. I'm working on melodies too, but that's hard stuff to do. The pros can do it because they mastered the art of "metacognition" or the ability to see the music as a whole and put emotion into it. Once you learn to create songs with emotion, then you'll be able to do it! The problem is that it's not as easy as it seems.

Yeah it's a lot of fun, even if we are still playing more covers than our original songs we're working on (: But yeah, our drummer is like a pro on drums and she writes lyrics too, so it's hard for me to adapt to her level because I seriously have no idea how to arrange chords so that they make a nice tone and such. But I'll get there someday =D
